Great....you're working out..how many calories are you burning? How many calories are you eating? Weight loss is CICO, Calorie In and Calorie Out. Measure/weigh all of your food, record it. Don't automatically trust the calorie burn on most machines as they can be wrong.

Why have a hot dog? You can put tuna on it, you can put chicken on it...ie food that's not processed to hell and back.

1) Measure liquids, weigh foods...even prepackaged foods. 2) Open your diary 3) How are you tracking your exercise? 4) do you allow any cheat meal/days? If so, make sure you log those as well. Weight loss is calorie in, and calorie out. Consistent, accurate logging is the key to successful, long term weight loss.

Eating healthy is great, and should be encouraged, but weight loss is Calorie in and Calorie out. You can eat ice cream all day everyday as long as you burn the calories off. The only thing I don't measure are raw vegetables, but anything else is weighed/measured. Its too easy to underestimate your food intake otherwise.

I've dropped about 23 lbs....and my 'ok' jeans are now my loose jeans. I have 4 or 5 pairs of jeans that are 2 sizes smaller and I haven't lost nearly enough to fit into those (40inch waist jeans, looking to fit into 36 inch jeans...) Generally any diet with a 'name' is not going to be worth while. There are exceptions, but I find this fits the 80/20 rule.
