I have not heard this, but would also disagree. I hope to God this isn't what your parents called them when you were growing up. There are enough people that lack self confidence and to use that terminology certainly doesn't help. Just my 2 cents!

Thanks for the information. I use a HRM to determine calories burned. If I burned 1920 from doing nothing, how would I lose weight if I ate 1800 and ate my burn calories back?

What type of excercise or workout program are you doing? If you're using weights you might also be adding muscle and therefore won't see immediate weight loss. I would keep doing what your doing and you will see a difference.

Keep up the hard work. Wine isn't so bad, its the soda..diet or not it's bad for you. I'm working on staying of the soda and try and drink unsweetened tea and water. Lemon and Limes are my new friends.

I am not perfect and I know how hard it can be to lose weight. My son has shown me to work hard and you can overcome any obstacle. Together we can all do it.

Stopping drinking alone won't show significant weight loss. However, tie that together with the right workout and nutrition and you will shed the lbs.
