Congrats girl, awesome job!

I was diagnosed with PCOS a few years ago. I have only been on here for a little over a month so I am by no means a success story but I've lost 14 pounds so far. Metformin made me sick as well. I think every person is different obviously but I have really tried to cut down how much sugar I intake and I think that helps.…

Fairly certain she meant convenient when she says easy.

I'm really pale so I don't understand the confusion but I get mistaken for Mexican all the time.

If I didn't eat or drink everything someone said may be harmful to me in the long run I would probably have to be growing my own garden right now. Like Ninerbuff said, sooo many of the foods we eat daily are said to have bad long term effects on us but I'm certainly not going to starve because of it. So yeah I drink Diet…

I like working out at home mostly for convenience, I can work out when my son naps rather than finding a baby sitter or leaving him with their daycare. But as far as cost goes, I can't afford an elliptical or any of the larger cardio equipment I was used to at the gym so that's a bit of a downer. I'm currently doing 30 Day…

You look great! His loss if you ask me!

Yes, Chipotle cravings always! And mashed potatoes. I'm holding out until Thanksgiving though lol

I made zucchini lasagna the other night and actually got my fiance' to say he liked it better than traditional! Less than 400 calories a serving too!

Like others have said, if his project has an end in sight you can definitely find other workouts to do in the meantime. But he can't keep you from using things in YOUR house indefinitely. I personally would workout then put everything back exactly where I found it but I don't see any solution to this situation that doesn't…

I gained 30ish pounds with my son and ate fairly healthy and walked quite a bit until about 25 weeks but I was placed on bed rest for much of the end of my pregnancy and still ended up delivering my son 6 and a half weeks early due to preeclampsia. It has been said so much and will continue to be because it couldn't be…

SAHM of a 4 month old here with about 70 more pounds to lose, feel free to add me!

Oh yay! I bet that's a great feeling, good job!

Your BMR or Base Metabolic Rate which is as many calories as your body needs to function if you did nothing but lay in bed all day is almost 2000 calories. You can eat A LOT of healthy food for 2000 calories.

Okay your doctor was not very helpful. You should watch what you eat, focus on fruits, veggies, chicken, etc.Stay hydrated. Being severely overweight while pregnant can cause a TON of unpleasant and dangerous problems IE preeclampsia, gestational diabetes. Try to avoid high amounts of sodium because it can cause you to…

This. I was going to say the same thing. Bring healthy snacks, for you or for everyone. But I'm still hoping this is a joke and you're not delusional enough to think that you have a right to throw away other people's food because you're dieting. Bring your own damn water to work. If there's room for cakes on people's desks…

So far I've been switching between 30 Day Shred and kickboxing workouts. I've lost 10 pounds in the last month so I'm not exactly a success story but it seems to be working for me. I know if I get bored with my workouts I won't do them so I have to switch it up. Hope you figure out what works for you!

Make sure you microwave it before you try to cut it or be careful with the knife as it's really difficult to cut through! I baked mine face down for 45 minutes at 400 degrees(I had a rather large squash) and served it under a baked chicken parmesan tonight that I made with a low sodium marinara sauce and fat free cheese.

You can do it! And like everyone else said, this is a marathon, not a sprint!
-
This won't work for everyone but sometimes I have one of whatever it is that I'm craving. Like I was dying for cheez-its the other night so I literally ate one and I was over it. But that also meant I got one out of the box and put the rest away so I didn't eat the whole box.

I'm not a single mom but I'm a fulltime student and my fiance' works 12+ hours a day outdoors(in Arizona, blehh) so once he finally gets home asking him to take our son while I work out isn't exactly on top of his priority list. I do a lot of Jillian Michael's DVDs, 30 Day Shred and Kickbox Fastfix are my faves and they…

When people are telling you that eating less than 1200 calories is a bad thing they mean it nutritionally, not just as far as weight loss goes. It is very difficult to intake all the nutrients your body needs while intaking less than 1200 cals. I'm also curious what you eat that keeps you full at less than 900 calories a…

So I totally feel your pain. I actually live with my fiance', our son and his mother though we have our own apartment that is just attached to her house so I can definitely make my own meals and what not. I had a similar problem of not feeling comfortable eating what his mom was making so I started making dinner at least…

I have 5 tattoos. 3 of which I got done before I turned 18 and were done well but I don't still necessarily like. I have one in my lip, my shoulder, both wrists and behind my ear. My ear is one of the smallest and probably bothered me the most because it felt like my skull was vibrating the entire time but it was nothing…

I was diagnosed with PCOS a few years back. I finally buckled down and starting working out about this time last year and lost a little weight and low and behold I got pregnant(not exactly on purpose) so I gained everything I lost back and then some. I am back trying to eat low carb and working out regularly. I'd love to…
