  • Welcome! I am afraid that with 4 classes this quarter I am having a little difficulty remembering to post here. Lol. Homework keeps getting in the way. New knee brace is really helping, I have been averaging 2.5 miles a day walking around campus. So far it has not hurt near as bad as it had been. Well back to it.
  • Knee brace is here! Back to square one with all the forced inactivity but been averaging 5,000 steps a day since classes started.
  • Funny how we never seem to vertically lol. I am trying to get back into the swing of school. This quarter I am on campus which is going to be good for the step count. Still waiting on the knee brace, it will not arrive too soon. Lol.

  • Not sure where the last couple of days went. Lol. Trying to get ready for classes to start again. Pt tried taping my knee in place for a couple days. Trying to get a knee brace but so far because of my size that is a bit of an adventure. Hopefully will have one tomorrow.
  • Ugh back to physical therapy for another month. The knee cap is not tracking properly so it basically partially dislocated with every movement and now the cartilage at the back of the knee cap is cracking and forming an arthritic cyst.   • Ok, it is a little sad that the last post in here was mine saying would be off for a couple of days. Who would like their butt kicked first? Our time at the beach was good but now it is back to it. MRI is tomorrow but won't have results until Monday. Sigh

  • I love my mother in law but there is no such thing as controlling your eating with her. Mine served a full lasagna dinner an hour before dishing up a traditional turkey dinner on thanksgiving.   • I still have the lower 2 lol. Haven't had any ice cream but have been asleep on the couch all day. Lol. Hoping it will be be better tomorrow. After all it is the last week and a half of the quarter and sleeping doesn't get homework done. But it is good for the diet. Lol

  • Today was a good day, got 15 min on the bike without any pain and even managed to do my ball rolls without getting "stuck" on the ball. It is a relief to see some progress even if the pain doesn't seem to be getting any less. Jess, you haven't posted in a couple of days. I expect at least a smiley face tonight!
  • Good news, I can now start to work myself up on the bike to 30 min. With that and my pt exercises I should start getting a good workout everyday. Hopefully it will stop hitting so bad soon.   • Yes I went to the gym, spent the rest of the night cuddling with the ice bag and got water bottle. Before burning several fingers nicely on the lid to the roaster while fixing dinner.   • Depends are you wanting to cook pasta at home or go out for it? You might take a peak at you nutrient reports of you are struggling with cravings and there isn't an obvious reason. I find that often I have something my body needs that I am way under on that week when I get strong cravings without huge amounts of stress.
