Hopefully, yours stops and sniffs less than mine does. She is only 12 lbs but boy does she know how to use it to get her way on a leash. lol I would get much farther if I left her at home, but it would only be half as much fun.

Does anyone else have an issue with the calories burned from exercise constantly changing? My diary showed 192 at 6 and 117 at 8. Any thoughts, it is really annoying.

Made it to the full 64 oz so far!

I think I am starting to get the hang of this. Lol. How's it going Jess?
-
Today was better, dog and I got in 2 miles!
-
Today was a lousy day for drinking water. Managed to sneak in just 16 oz.

Just under a mile today. Fitbit says more but I think it lies. Rubbed a blister in new walking shoes today so decided better to be under than out for the whole day tomorrow since it is on the bottom of my foot. Ugh

I have been on this time around for just over 30 days. Tried before but it just wasn't the right time. Of course that just means I gained more that I now have to lose. lol

Talk to your doctor. While your gallbladder is necessary up to a point, gallstones can become very serious very fast. I lost more weight before my surgery because I waited too long (it took a long time to figure out it wasn't my heart and get proper treatment) and couldn't keep anything down. However, that said after…

Mind if I join in on the daily posting? We can hold each other accountable to check in and keep going.

Mine knows, and is even on here with me. That said, I have my profile set to private with the exception of my diary which is set so only friends can see it. I don't hide anything from my SO but I also don't share with everybody and their brother on MFP just to avoid the appearance of a secret with her. Instead I share if…

I'm in. I am a full time student so some days I will sit at the computer all day and forget to drink enough water. Then wonder why I have a headache by the end of the day. I am only at 4 cups so far today.

I'm in. Got a new fitbit for Christmas and so far I love the workout mode when I take a walk. Thanks to a knee injury Christmas day it has been slow going. But I am up to a mile in one shot, thanks to the dog it is a slower mile than I would like. (All those post cards to answer on the path) but we are getting there. 1/11…

Now you know why I prefer the term "orientation dynamic". It allows me to describe me without putting myself in a box.

Me too

Today mine congratulated me on climbing 100 floors in a single day!

Today was rough, made rougher by realizing I am posting in a dead forum.

Met a friend yesterday for lunch and spent all day today sitting in bed doing homework to catch from the last few days. Tomorrow is coffee with pastor, a walk a and more homework. But at least I am still hitting my calorie goals.
-
Well here is a good one for you. I wear my fitbit charge on my nondominant hand, have it set to dominant for sensitivity and it still logged 1800 steps today while I sat and crocheted. Lol
-
Ugh what a day. Made my calorie goal but that was it. Emotionally drained and exhausted after spending almost all day at the hospital with a friend. But tomorrow is a new day.

Nope

Just got a fitbit charge for Christmas, still getting used to it.

Happy New Year.

Been trying to decide the best way to get some support and accountability as I head into the new year. Got off to a good start before the holidays but then no only over indulged but took a nasty fall that has had me sitting too much with my leg up. Doctor has ok'd walking so long as I tolerate it,ok now so the dog and I…

I log the recipe if I am mixing all the ingredients together. If I dish an item separate then I log it separately.

Born and raised here. Currently in S. Everett, but Snohomish is home. (For those not from WA look north of Seattle)

I too have a very active job. I simply set my activity level for moderately active. I wear a pedometer and have a good idea of what an average day looks like so I do log some of the calories burned on excessively busy days. Ie. I normally walk 6 miles a day in an average shift but on days I do 10 miles I log an extra 100…

with the exception of sewing that is what I do as well. Though don't forget playing with the dog too, way more fun than house cleaning.

Get school over with. School isn't just about you, it is your families future. I can tell you that with a full time student for a spouse, if she backed off her classes to join a gym I would be furious especially if she used money already earmarked for classes. As far as motivation, it is over rated. Just like school weight…

You didn't say how old the child is but any option with "1 bedroom apartment with a child" is an automatic "no" for me. I currently work in a job I dislike with some people I can't stand. My wife and I came up with a plan for how to get me out of it in 18 months, I can do anything for a set period. That plan included 1)…
