I haven't found eating healthy to be any more expensive than unhealthy. It just requires more planning and sometimes buying in bulk.

Yeah, I'd recommend following the program as is. Gaining and keeping muscle is important, especially as we age.

I really like the Healthy Choice meals. I'll only have them maybe once a week, but I found that they're pretty cheap, taste surprisingly good (for a frozen meal), and are lower in sodium than most other frozen meals too. I had this one the other day. It is my favorite so far.

Here you go. Use lowercase IMG tags. Amazing progress!

I read a study recently that the difference between a low and high metabolism is usually around only 200 calories per day. So, the idea that there are skinny people out there who can eat ice cream and burgers all day is mostly false. Maybe only if they're still a growing teenager!

The best time is whatever time you can do it consistently. 6am, 9am, 2p, 10pm. Whenever. :)

If it's working, don't stop. :) It only takes me around 5-10 minutes a day to use MFP.

P90X is quite a challenge. But stick with it, you'll definitely see results.

Every morning after I wake up.

I'm pretty sure that's what he was asking, yeah. MFP is more about tracking food and cardio than tracking weights, but they give you the option to.

Doctors are often wrong, especially the dumb ones. I have a few family members in the medical industry, one a doctor and one a nurse, both with 30+ years of experience. They'd tell you the same thing. Just saying -- don't put blind trust in any doctor. They're still human. OP, I'd get a second opinion.

They're wrong. I have a career I love, and as a bonus I get paid well too! Little stress and lots of fun, plus I can work from home and have flexible hours. I'm in software development, btw, but there are many other positions like mine in other industries. Either way -- you deserve to create a life you love. That's really…

I work out first thing in the morning after I wake up, before my brain realizes the pain I'm about to put my body through. :)

A strategy that is working great for me is to type my foot into MyFitnessPal BEFORE I eat it. I don't allow myself to eat unless I've already tracked it. This helps me make sure I log everything and helps me ask myself, "Do I really want to eat this?"

I agree with the less is more approach. I've seen many girls with and without makeup, and I prefer without makeup. But if a girl wants to wear some lip gloss or concealer or something by her own choice, then of course that's fine.

Just do a quick 5 minute brisk walk... then you'll be under your goal! ;-) Good start!
