  • It sounds like he is genuinely worried.. it really doesn't sound like sabotage
  • Based on what I'm currently doing my goal would be around 30 lbs lost by Christmas.. I'd also be happy with 25 or even 20 :) Any weight loss makes me happy
  • I'm around 5'8.5" My highest weight and the weight I started this journey at was 295lbs.. I'm now at 276 (and counting ^____^ ) My first goal is 240 by January 23rd (my birthday) and also the lowest weight that I remember being as an adult.. I want my goal to be 135lbs.. but I have never been that weight as a teenager or…
  • I often eat 1 - 1.5 cups of white rice a day .. I just fit it into my calorie intake.. and to keep the calories lower on the meal I just pair it with steamed veggies and chicken breast..
  • Hello :) I'm in the same boat as you.. I'm 27, I want to lose about 165lbs total - now I need about 150.. and I don't really have many friends outside my husband and some online friends.. I'd be happy to share this journey with you :) I'll send you a friend request
  • I really miss Ninja Warrior (the original from Japan) when it was on G4..
  • I sent you a message explaining that once you enter your goals in and myfitnesspal tells you how much calories you should net per day then you don't need to also have a deficit.. the number that myfitnesspal tells you already will include the deficit :) Oh and if your daily calorie intake says around 2100 and that includes…
  • Try not to worry... I'm in the same boat as you (been overweight since I was like 8) just drink a lot of water... and don't lose weight too fast (as in don't have a deficit of more than 500 - 1,000 calories under your BMR that includes your average daily activity)... And make sure you are exercising along with your calorie…
  • I feel the exact same way.... I tried to find information about it from multiple people that have lost a large amount of weight... From what I understand... the most important thing is to lose weight at a slow pace (no more than 1.5-2lbs per week).. Also the younger you are the better and the less amount of time you've…
  • That's tough really.. I love a lot of different foods.. but the one thing that I refuse to completely give up is icecream... I don't like to keep it in the house because it's so hard for me to eat it in sensible amounts.. but I don't want to ever tell myself that I can't get an icecream cone now and then :)
  • I'm not sure about anyone else.. but if I eat more calories then I planned I tend to just exercise a little longer.. and if it's too much of a gap I try to make up the difference the next day
  • I haven't put a lot of thought into it because I've only recently started this journey.. but I know that I plan on going into clothing stores that I've never been able to shop in and buying clothes based on what I like... not just what's available in my size that actually fits right..
  • I think for me.. rather than words of encouragement from strangers.. what has helped motivate me on this website is seeing people who have lost the amount I need to lose.. as well as seeing people that have or have had the same food issues that I do.. I do agree with you to an extent.. but I also think people know that…
  • For sweets it's icecream.. it's my major weakness.. other than that it's not necessarily a particular food but the sensation of overeating and needing to feel completely full that's my real weakness..
  • Hey Violavia! I'm new on this site and would really like to meet some people to share support with as well. :) When I first decided to change my life I started reading success stories online and wow what motivation. To see other people like me who had a lot of weight to lose (I started my journey at 295lbs and am currently…
  • My husband and I both have been using Slimfast meal bars for breakfast lately.. we get up and immediately head to work at around 3:30am so it's perfect to give us some energy and keep us both satisfied until a couple hours later when I make a real meal for us. I just fit it into my daily calorie amount and treat it more as…
  • The only place I really find jeans that fit me right is at Torrid.. it's not inexpensive.. but you can look for coupons and things online.. I just bought 2 pairs of jeans last weekend and while the normal prices were $58.50 for each pair I only paid $75 total because of the sale they had as well as the coupon that I…
