It means they are about to pop out of your skin and splatter against the walls. It's really pretty cool when it happens!

I would and I could.

Wow. You have made an amazing transformation. Thank you for sharing your inspiring story. I'm sure many, many people on this site will draw strength and insight from it.

I have protein powder mixed with water or milk pretty much every morning because it's fast and easy. I put more time and energy into preparing lunch and dinner.

I am happy to say that I have not encountered family, friends or acquaintances that behaved in ways described in the article. It seems incredibly petty and immature to try to sabotage someone's health out of jealousy. I do have a doctor friend who claims that many of his patients encounter resistance from their spouse when…

Married to my life partner/best friend who is currently working out of state and dating a handsome young man! Everything's out in the open and copasetic. I'm a very lucky woman.

By this logic, you should be harping on FB friends for riding a bike. Driving a car. Skiing. Playing contact sports. Eating sunny side up eggs and having a drink after work with friends. These are all risky behaviors that can lead to preventable conditions that drive up premiums.

So you're concerned that the recipes people are posting on Facebook are contributing to the obesity epidemic in this country and feel compelled to speak up? Okay. I think you're attacking the wrong part of the problem, but I hear you. But trust me, this is NOT an effective way to help people lose weight. I am not an expert…

Well said. I love looking at all sorts of recipes and food blogs online. Sometimes it inspires me to make a healthier version of a truly decadent dish. Or maybe I'll bookmark the recipe for a special occasion meal that calls for something rich and indulgent. If you have healthy recipes you would like to share on Facebook,…

"Clean eating" means different things to different people, so it's really all a matter of perspective, food preferences, and beliefs about eating. For example, I had a jr. bacon cheeseburger and chili for lunch yesterday, and I consider myself to be a lean, mean, clean eating machine.

Don't try too hard. Try the perfect amount. Don't dress too sexy, but dress sexy enough. You aren't a nun. Show some skin. Don't talk too much, but when you do talk, talk about all the RIGHT things. Don't flirt with the waiter. Don't look at your phone. Don't forget to brush your teeth eight times before the date, twice…

I once did 15 miles on a treadmill in my garage with no music. I consider it mental training as well as physical.

A string of orgasms, each more intense than the one before it. Followed by a 30-minute nap.

What I hear you saying is that you had a back injury that led to a sedentary lifestyle. This, is in combination with overeating, led to a big weight gain. Now that some time has passed since you injured your back, you are ready to start moving more and regaining mobility, and you realize that your eating habits have…

Stop it you guys. it's "dietitian," not "dietician."

It's not true. Fruit is digested normally. It doesn't sit around in your GI tract fermenting and inhibiting weight loss.

I eat McDonald's regularly. Quarter Pounders, mostly. And I'm a nutritionist ... And I have a fit, healthy body. I know that my own personal experience is in no way equitable to a well-designed research study, but it bugs me when people have knee-jerk, ill-informed FEELINGS about food that they translate as COLD HARD FACTS.

I want to second what someone else said about checking out the Garden of Life brand Raw Protein powder and their Raw Meal, which has additional nutrients. Both the Raw Protein and the Raw Meal are high-quality vegan protein supplements from sprouted beans and grains. They are a little thicker and chalkier than your average…
