If you have lost 33 pounds in 4 months, there is no way you've plateaued for "months." That's 8.25 pounds a months, over 2 lbs a week. Sounds like you're doing quite well, actually.

The first thing I did was research what people who maintain substantial weight loss do. I've lost 20-30 pounds a couple times before--and then gained 40-50. One accepted behaviour is they track their food intake. So I told myself I would just track my intake for the rest of my life. I read an analogy here on MFP in my…

I also don't cheat, as what am I cheating on? But tonight I had fajitas at a Mexican restaurant. AND lots of chips and salsa. Still not cheating!

I went on my honeymoon in February to an all-inclusive in Cancun for a week. Ate and drank all the things, but I didn't stuff myself silly like I might have "normally." Ended up gaining 2-3 pounds (which might have been water/airplace/hormones), lost them over the next few weeks. No regrets.

Add it to my original day since I haven't slept. Plus I don't want to start a fresh new day with the previous night's munchies in my log!

I've lost 27 pounds since Jan. 1. While I sometimes wish it was more, I also think that losing slowly is giving me good tools to prepare for maintenance. I'm in this for the long haul, and I'm not punishing myself on the way. So, yay, we're down 27 pounds!!

6-7: wake up, look at social media 7-8: home workout with Beachbody on Demand 8-8:30: get ready for work 9-5: work. Bring lunch, take 30 min walk at some point. 5:30-6: fix dinner and eat 6-9: free time--walk/run any steps I need to get to 10k for the day, watch TV, quality time with husband 9:30: bed, reading, asleep by…

I've lost 27 pounds since January 1 of this year. Slow and steady!

I'm also an apple, 5'8", down to 190 from 220. Last measurement I'd lost 2.5" from bust and hips, and 3" from waist. But there's no hourglass yet!

Last month I gained 5 pounds in 4 days while still staying in my calorie range. I kept at it and it finally went away after a couple weeks. Keep at it!

I try for 10k a day, mostly to have a couple hundred extra calories to eat.
-
I eat 2-4 squares of 78% dark chocolate (115-230 calories) every day.

Stopped lying to myself.

Every morning, recorded in Libra. Every Monday morning for official MFP weight.

I had 50 to go when I started. I'm halfway through now, though I'm on the super slow plan. MFP gives me around 1500 a day to lose 1lb/week, and then I walk 10k steps a day to get another few hundred calories. I seem to function best at around 1800 a day, ie, I don't get hangry.

A packet of hot chocolate.

I feel like, by tracking, I finally have some control over food instead of it having the control over me. I intend to track for the rest of my life. I fought it at first, but now it's just second nature.

I'm 5'8" and shooting for 170 to start, because I'm a size 12 at that weight and feel fairly good. I may try to go a little lower afterwards, as that's still just outside normal BMI. But I'm also 47 and want to make sure I get a handle on maintaining at 170 for a bit before I go lower.

@tmoneyag99 I logged it as 1500 total, because I figured there was a lot of oil I could easily miss. And it was a total of 8 creamers. But I'm glad to know I probably didn't underestimate. I also didn't eat again that day, so the damage wasn't too bad. Thank you!

Ooh, I had a good one from the other day and I struggled to compute it. Breakfast skillet. Fried hash browns with bacon, onions and peppers, sausage gravy, and topped with two over easy eggs. Two coffees with four flavored creamers each.

Hi! 47 here. I walk over 10k steps a day and am trying to figure out which Beachbody video to dive into next. Thinking PiYo or P90. Down 25 of 50 pounds, very slowly. You guys are BRINGING IT!

Why not shoot for a healthy rate and have a sustainable loss and a happy marriage? Dieting for one specific event is a pretty surefire way to fail in the long run. You want to be skinnier for your wedding in two months, but do you want to come back here in a year with 40 to lose? Or start slow and sustainable and lose the…

I've decided that for me to indulge in a free work treat like that, it has to hit a high standard for being worth the calories. I personally don't really care for donuts. I mean, sure it's sugar and flour, but they just don't do it for me. The old me would have eaten one or two anyway. Since the new me doesn't want to…

I make carnitas in the crockpot, then mix with a bunch of onions and peppers, black beans, and rice. Two cups leaves me full, for about 450 calories. It's all about learning what fills you up. For me, it's protein and fat and lots of veggies for fiber. Eating out at restaurants is always difficult, because calorie…

I had IBS with considerable digestive issues. But now working as intended. My staples are what everyone else has said: Probiotics, coffee, lots of beans, grains and veggies, magnesium at night, plenty of fat. For a while I used Heather's Tummy Fiber, which also helped.

I was set to 1500 at 1lb/week and was still hungry, so I starting walking 10k steps every day to add back some calories. Now I eat about 1800 and I'm set.
-
I use a packet of hot cocoa in mine. Not exactly low carb, but it's only 80 calories instead of the 140 for sugar and half and half I used to drink.
-
I got about 1000 for 17k steps yesterday.

Hmm, I'm on Loestrin so pretty sure it's still being made.
