I love drinking Vitamin Water Zero. It is sweetened with Stevia. I have also heard good things about the water Enhancer Mio. I haven't tried it myself, but my aunt swears by it.

If you are insulin resistant like I am, we can not have a lot of carbs, and keeping a lowered level of carbs is the only thing that helps a lot of us. So, I think it's like what the previous poster put...it just depends on who you are.

I try to have sugar free pudding made with skim milk. That seems to help a little when I just have to have something sweet NOW!

I use premier protein shakes...30g protein, 4g carbs, 1g sugar. Tastes great!

My eating has been fairly regular...protein, vegetables, and fruits. I do. But I know that I am going to go up and down, depending on how I ate and whether or not I have gone to the bathroom, so I don't freak out about it. I do it just to make sure that I am on the right track. however, there are days when I weigh myself more than once during the day, and that is just pointless. :)

Every now and again, I like to make shrimp fajitas! If you are watching your carbs, look to Mama Lupe's low carb tortillas. Sautee those shrimp with peppers and onions...mmmmmmmmm. And you can eat quite a bit for not too many calories.

Another insulin resistant here. And I concur with Dreamfields pasta. Only 5 grams of pasta are digested. And it is great!
