  • I think this is about normal I've lost around that amount and mine has dropped to around about.5 a week also. I've got to so many plateaus I've lost count! It is disheartening but I'm keeping going I know Christmas will be a struggle but then I'll be renewed for the New Year. I usually change my exercise routine and that…
  • I used the wii fit for six months and did the job until I lost 35lb and decided to join the gym - I'll still use it now and again but wanted something more intense and felt more confident to join a gym. It's definitely a great started and thoroughly recommended if you can't/don't want to go to the gym!
  • Well done, great motivational pics - there's a big difference and I bet you can feel the benefits too!
  • Having undergone a course recently in bi-polar I wouldn't recommend having a day off from exercise as your mental well being is just as important as your physical health, what I would suggest however is taking a bit easier one day a week if you can but one thing for sure do what feels right for you - I don't have a day off…

Welcome to MFP, everyone here is really friendly and there are some great motivational posts if you get…
  • Your story rings a bell the video of my wedding last October and feeling self conscious on my honeymoon in Egypt did it for me along with I'm due to be a nan in July and didn't want to be known as 'fat' nan! I'll put my before and after pics up when I get to my after stage! Good luck!
  • I shouldn't worry too much I've just gone through a two week plateau where my weight went up 300 grams in this time (very demotivating when you know you've been trying hard!) but this week the scale is moving in the right direction again. It did motivate me to take another look at what I was eating and exercise so it may…

I've upped my exercise in the hope something will shift by next week! Keep up the good work I'm sure there will be some results soon.
