There is such a thing as nutritionally dense foods that are low in calories. As far as food consumption there is no one-size fits all. You have to find the mix of macro nutrients that work for you and support the goals you have.

My pug ate a dryer sheet. He was trying to pass it (in the house!) and we saw this white stuff sticking out of his a@# and had no idea until we started to tug on it (I know gross!!!) what it actually was. Then we couldn't stop laughing!!

Ok I'm in on this. Table sugar eaten by the spoonful isn't running rampant across the U.S. Wealthy countries tend to have an abundance of food high in calories and low in nutrition. None of this is new information. We are over stressed, over worked and under paid which leads to hectic lifestyles and little time to plan /…

Glazed donut in hand...YUM! But seriously - actually nevermind.

OK First your macros. I assume your proportions = 40/40/20 is Protein/Carbs/Fat. If so, for someone your size and activity level protein is key! Your entire body is composed of Proteins. Make sure your proteins are complete lean proteins (amino acids). Carbs are important - think of them like kindling on the fire. Think of…

What a beautiful family! Congrats on the engagement :) You absolutely can do this. Eat to live, don't live to eat. Think of food as fuel for your engine. Add me and I will support you on your journey!

Fantastic job with the weight loss!! Your weight is very low but do you know your BMR? The higher your BMR the more calories you will burn sedentary. A higher BMR is accomplished by having lean body mass and muscle. To do that you want to eat lean protein, healthy complex carbs and healthy fats. What is the composition of…

I use Isagenix so I buy their protein bars and snack items which also pack protein. The protein bars are all natural with 24 g of protein and 240 calories - a meal replacement actually. For the salty side I eat their Whey thins. they are a new product. 100 calories and they come in BBQ or sour cream and chive flavor. I…

If it's feasible, find a therapist and talk with them about your issues with food. I also deal with simiilar issues when I go out and friends eat what they want. But I know my plan is working for me. I keep remembering the reason why I made the decision to do this in the first place and the feelings of resentment go away.…

This universe is amazing - when we put ourselves out there and ask for support we typically receive and you've been flooded by amazing, supportive people here. I second the comment here about the protein shake but make sure it has enough fiber in it to keep you feeling full. I would suggest a meal replacement with at least…

Hi Aaron. My hubby was infantry airborne and retired after 20+ years of service. Thank you for your service!

Hi y'all! Stefanie, here in Austin, TX. Thanks for adding me! I'm a military (retired army) wife and mom to two young boys. My goal is to lose 40 pounds by my birthday in August. I was in marketing for 20 years and now have a fantastic opportunity to focus on my health and work from home. I'm so thankful for this…

i really don't think anything like this, a one pill wonder, will work long term. It doesn't address toxicity, stress and overall poor health. Your need a whole body solution that you can depend on will deliver the best nutrition, help decrease stress hormone cortisol and fight toxicity.

You cannot beat yourself up for being on the go. We lead busy lives and things don't always go according to plan. Doing a trip through the drive thru doesn't mean a failure. I had some amazing red wine and sharp cheddar last night! It was awesome and I enjoyed it. It also put me over on my calories. You pick yourself up…

When y'all talk about your friends becoming spammers, that is absolutely what gives network marketing the bad rap it has. NOBODY wants to be sold. For example, how would you describe a salesperson? Think of some adjectives...slimy, sleezy, pulling a fast one on you? Why do you think that is? If you want to be a surgeon do…

I have another 40 pounds to lose. I'm confident I'll meet my goal. Here to provide support to y'all from Austin, TX.

I guess you know more than the CDC. Direct quote: "The History of State Obesity Prevalence There was a dramatic increase in obesity in the United States from 1990 through 2010" .http://www.cdc.gov/obesity/data/adult.html Simplify the problem if you must, but preferably offer a solution.

Hey Eso! I am not a nutritionist I just play one on TV - HAHA. But seriously, a high quality (keywords here - high quality = clean) protein shake containing at least 24 g of protein is the more nutritious choice you can make. Choose a shake with a complete protein - undenatured whey (cold filtered process) - due to its…

Hey there! I've been on Isagenix for 5 months! I use it every single day. When I first started I didn't deprive myself of any social situation where food was involved because I knew that was my stumbling block that I had to solve. For you it sounds like it's not food but wine. I'm a huge wine lover so I understand that…

Great job!

I would say look at the biological value of your protein and also make sure it's a complete protein. The biological value (BV) of an egg is 100 compared to the BV of undenatured whey protein which is 159. You have to eat 1.5 eggs to equal the same value. Our food source is deleted of nutrition from all the pesticides and…

@stefaniemazz - The amount of protein you consume is different for everyone. The amount is equal to the amount of lean body mass you carry. Your sister is doing yoga 4x a week that is great and I would consider that an active/athletic lifestyle. That said, to maintain her toned body she should be consuming about 1g of lean…
