it's hard finding a doctor that will listen - have you ever tried a pain management doctor? just take it one day at a time and move as much as you can on those days that you can and rest on the days you can't. Take care and know that you have friends here that will help support you!:flowerforyou:

Hello everyone - My name is Rose and I am 57 years young. 3 years ago a tree fell on me and broke my back. Then last year I fell and broke my ankle in 3 places - So I went from being a skinny lady to an unhappy - very overweight lady that just wants to get back to being that skinny lady again. I have been trying to be more…

Sig and Kathy hang in there - I too have had painful challenges to try and overcome. It's sad when you see others walking with ease and wish you too could do that. I was told by my Physical therapist years ago- baby steps and move as much as you can whenever you can however you can. I am now up to walking 10/15 minutes…

Sirajr cool tree! I need to get working on crocheted mittens for needy kids and I would also like to get some dish clothes finished - just need to find the time - I use to crochet many items but work get's in the way of crocheting. Oh and I also need to get a few Barbie outfits done.

Hi I am Rose and new to this group - I have been crocheting and knitting for over 40 years - I like crocheting best and I really enjoy working with cotton thread. I have 2 adult children and 3 dogs (we rescue Vizslas and currently have 2 males). At Christmas time I like to make mittens and Barbie doll clothes for kids in…

So proud of you Matt for getting to your goal weight - Great job man! As for me instead of getting rid of a pound I gained another one. This week I really want to make that pound go away! So I am really going to watch what I eat and try to get the walking up to 15 minutes. Matt you are a wonderful example and are really…

sitting in a hot tub does wonders - you feel sooooo relaxed when you get out.

I hear you! It can be so frustrating when you can't make plans because you don't know how mobile you will be each day. I always have to reply with "I need to wait and see'. Then if I do go out I get tired out so fast - then I am frustrated that I even went in the first place. If I do too much to try and build up any…

Still holding nothing gained or lost when I weighted in yesterday morning - my scale is stuck:grumble: But I guess it is still better than a gain:ohwell: Will try to add another lap to my morning walks. See everyone next week. Total weight so far lost 1 pound 9 more to go.

weight stayed the same - that's ok - I'd rather stay the same and not gain.
-
ok off to a fair start - I lost 1 pound since my last weight in so now have 9 more pounds to go - will try to keep walking daily for 15 minutes and watch my carbs. Now to stay true until next Monday's scale time. Also need to stay out of the kitchen after supper - no after dinner snacks!

Hi everyone - I would like to lose 10 pounds by the end of Nov. Hopefully I can do this by cutting the carbs, watching my portions - and trying to walk at least 10 minutes/day (I am limited to the amount of exercise I can tolerate). I will need lots of motivation - when I get down I eat to feel better :ohwell: I know I…

Hi everyone - I am new here and just starting my road to drop a lot of weight - 3 years back it all started for me - I had a tree fall on me and break my back. I was just starting to be able to walk around again and then last year I broke my ankle in 3 places (had to have surgery with plates and screws - I now have to walk…

But of course I do - we also buy presents for our grand dogs - they all so love the holiday season. My 14 year old blue healer won't stay out from under the tree - she is always trying to find her presents LOL:laugh:

I have 2 Vizsla males and 1 blue healer female - all 3 are spoiled rotten and very much loved. We live on a river and all three of them love to swim and play in the water. Life would be so dull without my furkids!?
