I went through the same thing when I hurt my back. I couldn't really do much of anything except easy walks. When I recovered I was glad to find I wanted to exercise again. My motivation didm't go anywhere.

Baby steps is exactly how I started. It is the best way to do this as far as I am concerned. It is the only way that works for me. I think motivation from friends is also a very good thing. I have sent a friend request. Anyone else can feel free to add me too.

Just take it one step at a time. If you try to do too much too fast it will not last! Log everything!! Make small changes you can live with, then make more small changes.You can do this!

I agree wth whole foods, cut out processed, junk and fast. Veggies, fruit, whole grains and protein. You can do this.

I would say the first step is to honestly log everything. Weigh everything and find yourself some supportive friends. This is a great site and most people I have run into are very helpful. Good luck with your journey. Feel free to add me if you would like. :smile:

Hi, I am also fairly new, about 7 weeks, I have lost 8 pounds so it hasn't been fast. I sent you a friend request, I believe the friends I have on made on this site have made all the difference in the world. Slow isn't a bad thing, if you lose slow it is more likely that it will stay off and that is important.
