Then it will be a good idea to keep track of your calories and stay on point to see how you do. I mean honestly you don't give a lot of info about yourself....so 0.5 lbs per week may be a lot for you or it may not be... I personally can drop weight really quick.....actually packing on weight is far harder. So 0.5 lb gain a…

I kinda think if the person does at least some exercise that stimulates the muscle, then muscle loss will be minimal. If they do nothing though....then loss of muscle will be higher. It is a very costly component of the body when in deficit. So if it isn't being used, not a big reason to keep it.

Do yourself a huge favor, in the end you will be glad you did. Lift heavy now, while cutting calories. At least 3x per week. If you are a complete newb to lifting then start with full body lifting program. Something like StrongLifts 5x5

[/quote] I have to be careful with the ice cream in my place....I have moments of weakness and go way overboard with it. :disappointed:

Sodium wouldn't be that big an issue. The body would normalize to the higher intake. Just drink more fluids. Muscle loss was prolly not that much if any Over a one month time span. Even less of a chance if he was exercising during that time.

Nice post. I share a lot of the similar thoughts. I will say for me and my beliefs. Macros have their role. If weight loss is all u are concerned with. Then the macros don't matter. Just overall calories. If you are concerned with body composition and/or athletic performance. Then an eye on ur macros I feel is warranted.…

"I want to believe"

LOL And 40 yrs old to boot.

How would it not work? A lot of the foods I eat, I double on the protein...being female, you wouldn't need as much, so you could eliminate calories by not doing a double portion.
-
Have to disagree with you on that one. It's just as hard for me to cut down on calories and stay around 2400 - 2600 calories, when I am used to eating around 3000 - 3200 calories. So I have to deal with binges, same as the next person...... It's all relative.

You can eat out and still lose weight. Just have to make the right choices. This past March, I did all my lunch and dinners eating out.... Posted about it here, if you wanna look. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10534218/fast-food-for-the-month

When we going??

Agreed. Ppl like what they like. It's not immature. We all discriminate based on certain things. Women are just as bad as guys on this.
-
Keep in mind, that men are typically very visual creatures....I know I am. And while I don't expect the person that I am with to look like they belong on the pages of a magazine (not really into that lean)....I also don't want her to be "bigger". I want someone who has a healthy body and pays attention to said body. I do.…

Monster Zero The have Ultra Violet out now in some places...so good. I also like the white and blue ones.

That's all bodybuilding is anyways....just an illusion. Right light, dark skin color, carb and water manipulation. When I get lean and shredded, people will say I look around 190 lbs....when I weigh in 166.

I will think about it. The lighting really sucks Lol. Let me hear a few
-
@TavistockToad Damn!!! U found it!!! I am shocked
-
It's just food.....not really healthy or unhealthy. It depends on how the calories and macros work for you. I did an entire month eating only fast food...did fine with my goals for that month. If you wish to read my thread on it, it is here. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10534218

Did for me, once I understood things. Allowed me to get my BF % down to have a lean physique.
-
 I don't know. Some not liking it.
-
You never know. Don't sale yourself short.
-
@TavistockToad I made another one, but the lighting is really crappy compared to the first one I did.
-
Yeah get a tan, that makes a big difference.

Not sure if that would do it. TRT only brings you up to "normal" levels...wouldn't be enough to pack on a lot of muscle. You are better to do a cycle of steroids. Keep in mind, he has now been lifting for a while....he is only 29 and stands 5'8" With a smaller frame it is easier to look "big" and muscle more dense....vs.…

I have went back and forth on if he did or did not use roids. I am kinda of the mind he didn't. I know the Rock does....but Zac isn't a very tall guy. So you slap muscle on someone with a compact frame....and he has been working out a while....then you do a "peak week" diet leading up to the "Big" shot in the movie, and…
