I gave up 8 months ago, after 30 years... enough was enough. It was actually a bit easier after the first 2 weeks than I had hoped but the first 2 weeks and any stressful situations will test the willpower I had bought some patches but never used them but I will tell you straight... I still miss them, most days I have to…

i'd look at incorporating some heavy lifting into your routine.

Nuts.. almonds are a fave of mine
-
For me it wasn't the amount of food, but the lack of exercise.

As above , but I would just like to add.... try and lose it slowly and the reason for this ( from personal experience) is you don't want too much skin hanging around, you want it to shrink back slowly... for lots of people who gain weight in certain areas... first on.. last off took me a year or so to shrink my belly 4 "…

well done ...easy to tell the difference. Always a good idea to take plenty of pics as you never really notice the day to day changes

best thing for me is to eat whatever I want as long as I can fit it into my macros, this way I don't feel deprived and am less likely to binge I see more people struggling here who try and restrict too harshly and feel deprived far better for me to eat what I want , just less of it of course this won't work for those with…

Sugar is just a carb .. fruit is fine, sugar is fine IIFYM .. I have always added my sugar to the carbs and try not to go over the two added together while trying to ensure my protein is higher. Mfp sets sugar and protein rather low If you were always over on your sugar and it was because of fizzy drinks or adding 3 sugars…

I'd be wary of losing too fast , purely because I would want to ensure I didn't end up with loads of loose skin
-
I'd be wary of MFP calorie burns until you get a HRM .. Lots tend to think they are working out much more vigorously that they really are, it sure feels like they are putting lots of effort in.. but in reality people tend to over estimate what they are burning.. especially when it comes to static bikes , elipticals and…

Rome wasn't built in a day stick with it, took me 3 weeks of deficit and cycling 15 miles per day to start getting things moving patience :) and go easy on yourself, you spent a long time putting it on....it won't vanish over night

I think if you have a good idea about what you hope to achieve , why you want to do it ... you stand a better chance of actually doing it. The first thing I did was click to see your profile and lo and behold... I see nothing there about you , why you want to be in shape etc etc Have a think about the why ... because for…

For starters, I'd look at exactly how many calories you are getting through a day. Weighing and logging it all. My belly area was what drove me to dietary and exercise change and although it's still a work in progress I have reduced my overall weight by 35lbs, given up smoking and taken my waistline from 39 to 34inches The…

Never think you know it all , nobody does. Don't smoke, don't forget to get a little exercise every day.... and for the love of all things .... do your homework and try hard at school.... When she tells you she doesn't want to be pregnant , she is going to blame you whether you tell her she can't or whether you support her…
