  • Def go to your doc, after you get it all sorted with rest, PT, anti-inflammatories, or whatever it is they recommend. Then I would go to a PT or someone well trained in proper body mechanics and maybe have them look at how you are doing certain exercises, a lot of times they can see if you are activating the right muscles…
  • I would never touch the old stove top pressure cookers, they made me nervous lol.
  • This is one of those things that depends on who you ask, I cook potatoes in the pressure cooker and they taste great and the texture is just fine. To someone else maybe not so much, but that is definitely personal preference and nothing wrong with either way. OP I love my pressure cooker the newest recipe I've been cooking…
  • What I am saying is don't discount it off of a couple of studies, especially since other studies are being done that show promise, they are continuing to study it for a reason. You are reading studies, I have been talking to real life people every day for years, a field I work in and it's done here everyday on top of that.…
  • Ha, Well then we have a lot of liars for patients and that includes professional athletes. We also have our own research foundation. But if all of that is not enough I have had dry needling done myself and it worked like a charm. So I won't be taking your word for anything. I see the results with my own eyes everyday. I am…
  • We do acupuncture and and dry needling here at the Spine Institute and Therapy Fitness Center. Our Physical Therapists do dry needling and our Pain management doctor does acupuncture. Our spinal surgeons even seem to think it's a great option and recommend it along with other therapies before things more serious like…
  • You sure? Hehe you should pick who's popsicle you would be first ;)
  • Ahhh best time to lose weight! My cousin is loving life right now after her divorce and loss of 80lbs. You do you girly! Just remember Living well is the best revenge.
  • This is from the link you put up and I gotta ask why doesn't it say anything at all about sugar intake as part of the preventing program, wouldn't it be a big part of it if sugar intake caused diabetes, why is it not worth even being mentioned. Seriously not trying to be a jerk but just logically thinking wouldn't it have…
  • Ugh I'm sorry, that sounds terrible, how did the doctors not diagnose it? MRI and even just an xray(you can't see discs but lack of space between vertebra can be an indication) should show that. Did they not do any imaging to start off with?
  • exactly, I had 100 cals left last night so I had 5 crackers(the serving size) and 3 garlic stuffed olives. My mind rebelled. I usually like to eat 30 crackers with a spicy V8 and olives and cheese and maybe some hummus. OP I would work the cheez its into your day, actually and luckily the serving size for cheez its is…

  • I usually fast during the day and stop anywhere from 12pm to 6pm so food is fair game for me right up until I go to sleep. I'll eat as late as midnight if it suits me.
  • huh, you would have thought he met a vegetarian or vegan by now. I have absolutely no problem whatsoever passing up any food at work or during the day easiest thing in the world no matter what it is..........now you bring it to my home in the evening time.....
  • I used to jog to and from the bar to happy hour, it was a little slower on the way back.
  • FREEZER! I remember one summer one of our patients for some reason got LITERALLY everything in the bakery section at Panera Bread for free, she won something where every friday she would go in and they would load her up with tables of pastries, cookies, and breads. She decided to bring it to us every friday that summer! Oh…
  • I guess my biggest advice is don't let a "screw up" ruin the rest of your day, don't wait until tomorrow to jump back on the wagon, do it the minute you realized you "messed up".
  • There is a difference between behavioral and physical addiction. Which one do you feel you have when it comes to fast food? and yes both types can be agonizing to overcome.
  • Spine pain/issues are very tricky things , it comes, it goes, it gets worse, it gets better, sometimes it never goes away everyone is different and responds differently to different treatments. My biggest advice, find a great doctor (word of mouth is a good way). It can be a process, don't give up and try different…
  • you actually got pulled for driving in the left lane too long, was it an HOV or something?! Well thank god lol I didn't actually think they did this but can't tell you how many times I wish they would have! No offense to you, but I'm really happy to know they pull people for that.
  • I did google, I attached what I came up with as I am sure you saw, should be fairly simple for you to show yours. If you don't have a rebuttal then that's fine too. It's obvious as previously stated that there are many different experiences/"opinions" when it comes to the chiropractic field, yours is just one.
  • Some of it could be the placebo effect which hey like you said if it works why not, probably not for all people though. If you don't find relief, then it's not the modality for you, doesn't mean other things won't help and def keep looking, don't give up. If it works for you do it. Everyone is different and different…
  • Show us some research, I'm willing to read it. I found this, maybe it started out that way I don't know, but it's becoming more legitimate or at least legitimate enough to be looked into. I work at a spine clinic and while we don't do anything involving it, we also know it has a time, place, and use. Many of our patients…
  • A good chiropractor can be a great thing for some people and for some not. It just really depends on your issues for some people they get great relief, for others it doesn't do a thing, and for some it makes things worse. I would talk to a doctor first to see if it would be an good option for you and then if it is find a…
  • Same, my husband is always asking, how do you get it on the walls?!?! I'm like MF'er I am cooking like 4 different things at a time trying to get them done at the same time............I don't have time to clean as I go!
  • I would like to be a secret assassin that finds and kills or severely punishes child and animal abusers. Since we're dreaming and all.
  • My husband swears the second he finishes cleaning the kitchen it's like a magnet to make me start cooking. He and I were doing dishes the other day and he asked what I was going to do after. I was gonna tell him all of this elaborate food I was going to cook..........but I couldn't keep a straight face.
  • I hardly ever cook for one, if you're going to put in the effort cook several servings and freeze it or eat on it during the week. A fast high protein single person meal I will make at work sometimes is I crack and scramble 3 eggs in a bowl, and add things to it, and then microwave it in the bowl. I sometimes add things…
  • I eat a lot of seafood so I try to eat wild caught on the low end of the mercury scale. I eat seafood almost everyday.
