I started to get really serious again a little more than two weeks ago and my weight has stayed the same, but I am not discouraged because I have improved on my endurance in my cardio and I am still finding my way back to my lifting. I don't expect anything dramatic for another month or so, by dramatic I mean pants fitting…

When I first started working out I over did it as well and I was almost laid up, good thing was that I had a week of work training and several doctors attended as well and thier recommendation was to 'go easier' if that helps... I bet the next time you do them if you just do sets of 20 you will be fine. I originally…

I agree, if youcannot tell that it is muscle pain then see a doctor. what is your goal? last year I was doing 1000 pushups a week as part of my exercise routine, but I did not do them everyday, I did like 250, 4 times a week or so. is your goal just to push out 100 each time you do them? maybe that particular routine of…

I can relate to the humiliation...two years ago when I was about 300 pounds my kids used to yell "Hey Fatso" at the store and if I looked they would laugh!! But it helped push me to lose weight, so It is what it is.... by they way , they still do that.....just to keep me on my toes everynow and then...

I work at a prison and there are about 120 single guys that work here with me. I can introduce you. And don't worry they are all very nice guys. They are not players or anything like that... they just haven't found the 'right' one yet, maybe it is you!

I was on MFP religiously about a year ago and I know that feeling! It does kind of surprise you. But good job on your diet! Some days you just get the munchies, or end up at a cook-out where you have to 'go with it'

That must be sad to see some of the people who are down and out. I used to work at a public Hospital and saw alot of the same. If you suffer a brain injury it is tough to function , and you become a different person. You are a good person to serve the public like that! but I think the OP was not posting about people who…

I work in a job that is 24/7 and that means 3 shifts have to use the same computer. I don't like it when people hide thier nail clippings, food crumbs, peeling skin, small papers, and whatever other gross stuff, under the keyboard. It is very disturbing when you move the keyboard and realize what is under it. :explode:

Yes I feel really guilty about it...

I tend to look for best tasting but cheap... one of my co-workers has experimented with making them using unflavored whey protien, and they actually came out pretty good and about 25% of the cost. Except sometimes they come out really bad...

exercise does not boost immunity very much. It makes you healthier, but if you are exposed to a disease you will still have the same chance of contracting it. I think you are getting that mixed up with 'healthier'. It would be nice to be able to aviod disease through exercise though!
