If i get to my parents' place, there will be turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, corn or green beans or peas, salad, buns, gravy, stuffing, probably pickles, maybe a jellied salad, a bit of wine, and pumpkin pie with whipped cream. Definitely won't eat as much as i have in the past, but will take a bite of…

as much 'chemistry' as you can have talking on the phone, sometimes things are different in person. I've had great chemistry with guys before meeting (though generally not that long) and then something about them isn't right when we met. Just no click in person. If the spark is there, it's there. I'm more about whether the…

Cook a roast/ham/chicken then slice for sandwiches. There are more "natural" meats that you can get here, not sure if Schneider's is in the US, but they have a line of Country Naturals, which just uses recognizable ingredients (salt, vinegar, lemon juice) as opposed to preserving chemicals. Or cheese sandwich, peanut…

I was thinking of this myself the other day... I may get a winter membership at a local gym, and I have a bunch of exercise DVD's to do- few Jillian Michaels, a yoga disc and some pilates. Will be time to dust them off! Maybe some Turbojam or TurboFire... But still biking and doing C25K as long as I can, though!

Drink water. Don't drink juice/pop/whatever at every meal. I actually lost weight the first year I went to college, as I was cooking for myself, and didn't have pie, and cake, and icecream appearing at every meal for dessert. I was also walking to get groceries and carrying them back a mile from the store. In university we…

Any time I've gone on a "diet", I fail. I feel when you diet, you change your eating habits to lose the weight you want gone. But what happens after that? "Oh, yay! I've lost all this extra weight! No more diet!| And then you go right back to eating the way you did before... the way you did when you gained all the weight.…

Caesar, not too spicy :) Or maybe three.

I have exercise induced asthma, too. My inhalers are lasting forever... I just started working out again, and am doing the 30DS and C25K, and just get a bit wheezey after the running. I'm finding it is getting better as I exercise more, and lose weight, though! I hope things go ok for you, and you're able to get a cheap…

sweet baked goods... and there's an awesome bakery in our little town. I generally budget for something once a week, but a bad day can get pretty ugly. I've started biking or walking there, though, so that helps some :)

I've been tempted to take weight loss supplements, or even a Rx, but then I thought about it, and even if it helped me lose weight a little faster, I want to do this on my own. I don't want to add in things that I won't be using forever. I will take fibre and oil supplements, but that's more for nutrition than weight loss.…

When I was in a karate club that was training hard all the time and I was going 5 days a week, I was always sore.. Not always in the same place, but always sore. This would go away as soon as I started the next class and got moving, but then something else would be sore! If you're always mixing up what you're doing, you're…

I'm so excited! Before I moved, one of my favourite restaurants made their own ginger ale, and then used it in a Moscow mule, which I LOVED! Will definitely be trying this!! Thank you so much!!

lol i was trying to post when it went down... so i actually went and did my week 2 #3 of c25k. The system is working!!

tuna, bit of low fat mayo or yogurt, chopped celery for crunch, finely chopped white onion, can put in green onion, too/instead. Some fresh ground black pepper and sea salt.

I'll try the vinegar thing next time I get burned.. thanks!

Maybe some solarcaine for short term relief... lots of aloe gel, repeatedly. And yes, you'll get "blisters" of sweat under the skin when it starts peeling.. which is just creepy looking- exfoliating gently can help that. Have had quite a number of sunburns in my life. You do have to kind of let it run its course, but I do…

Chocolate and caramel... which is why my butt is the size it is. But looking for another, better marriage. Snap peas and baby carrots are a good one, and will work on finding others :)

I eat one thing at a time on my plate... And if i drink milk, juice, or anything liquid in a container, or pouring cream, I have to shake it first. Which is awesome if the cap hasn't been put back on properly... And I absolutely refuse to eat any sort of organ meat or sausage, or artichokes. That's about as weird as I get.…

Prunes, lots of coffee, ground flax... Edited to add this- I have/had IBS- luckily it calmed down when I managed the stress in my life, but I still have some issues like you're describing, so I'll use the above. Another thing I found that helped regularity was taking a probiotic supplement. Or you could just overload on…

That's fantastic!!! You're doing so well, keep it up!

get properly fitted, that can make a ton of difference. You can go to a department store and they usually will have someone to fit you into the right bra, or you can go to a lingerie shop, though that may be more expensive. But they will find something that will work for you. If you're in the midst of your weightloss, you…

angel food cake, with some fresh berries/fruit and low fat cool whip? and it's not too heavy if the weather's hot. edit... ooh, and i did a clafoutis on the weekend for a bbq. it's like a thin cake. Fresh fruit in the bottom, topped with an egg mixture and baked. Was a little sweet but not too much, and quite easy. This is…

Maybe a walking program? I have seen some reference to walking DVD's, though not sure of the name off the top of my head. I'm not over 50, but my mom is wanting to increase her activity levels and get healthier, and so we've been encouraging her to walk, which she's really enjoying. My dad picked her up some Nordic walking…

Figure out the calories in one of them, and how long it would take to exercise to burn it off. Or keep a picture for motivation if you're waffling. Myself, I would have one, or a half, and do an extra workout or modify my eating the rest of the day to allow for it. You do have to have some enjoyment in life. You just have…

If you just started, your body might be adjusting to it. Continue what you're doing and drink lots of water? I know the first time I went on the pill it took a month to get used to it (picture 24 hr uber-PMS... yikes). Good luck!

I know in the 30 day shred, one of the cardio exercises is punching... could do that to get your heartrate up, without having to stand. Yes, it may look a little odd, but might help? The hand weights and crunches suggestions are good too. You might want to check out exercises that can be done in an office (generally done…

I do mine with 3 lb weights and that's good for me, but I have some shoulder issues.
