I'm always leery of any product where there is more pressure for you to sell it than there is to purchase it. I first ran into this when a friend of mine was selling beauty products. She had no interest in selling anything to me, she just wanted me to join her team. I went to one meeting she invited me to and most of what…

That is who I am referring to. In her original post on this thread she said that she weighs it but logs it as a cup/spoon/whatever because she doesn't know how to figure out where the grams/ounces option is. I didn't say anything about her advice on eating more calories, just the part where you keep questioning her logging…

She has said that she weighs it out to what the serving size is in grams but logs it cups/spoons because she doesn't know how to change it to grams. Maybe instead of trying to say she really isn't weighing, you could have let her know how she can find the weight in an entry. Not everyone is aware of how to do this.

If you tap the serving size a menu should appear and give you serving size options.

I looked back a few weeks and here are some things that I noticed (besides not weighing food, but I seen you are going to start doing that): -Not logging on the weekends. You need to log everything everyday. It wouldn't take much for you to wipe out a good chunk of your deficit on those two days. -Generic & Homemade…

I looked back through your diary over the past few weeks and one thing that really sticks out is that you seem to use vague entries. Examples: bread, spaghetti, beans, Jams and preserves. The more specific you can be with what brand you are using the better. If you use the barcode scanner then scan these items and make…

Sometimes all it takes is having a better understanding of your body and how things work to calm you down. Learning about daily fluctuations and what causes them helped me a lot. Maybe you should go through your diary over the last few days and see if there is any change in your sodium levels or look at the calendar and…

My current goal is to get to 160. After that I plan to reevaluate my goals and go from there. I have been constantly changing my weight loss goal so at this point I figure it would be best to pick 160 and worry about the end goal once I get closer to it.

The entry you are using is too generic and probably includes the bun. Try looking up USDA Ground Beef.

There are a couple of things that I log as tablespoons because grams are not an option in the drop down menu, but for the most part I log everything by weight.

When I was at Ft. Bragg the Army was offering Alli to Soldiers in the overweight program. Anyways, I wouldn't take either. If anything I would get on ICE and leave a comment that he was wanting you to take these pills and pushing you to lose weight at an unhealthy rate.

You can get help for free by reading the posts in the helpful posts announcements on here and the Getting Started forum. If you are absolutely dead set on trying the 21 day fix I would suggest that you search on Pinterest or Google for the plan and purchase containers from the dollar store. That way if you find that you…

I like to chew my food and save my money for other things.

I was stationed in Germany for two years. I ate fast food several times a week, drank a lot of booze but still managed to maintain my weight. I think the biggest difference for me was my activity level. Everything over there (both on and off post) was easily within walking distance or we would take a short train ride and…

OP, do you think that you would be able to keep yourself off of the scale for a week or two while you focus on tightening up your logging?

Don't compare your progress with your husband's, or anyone else's for that matter. Don't worry about adjusting calories right now. Your main focus should be on weighing your food and logging accurately. You got a lot of good advice on your other thread a few days ago. Follow that and be a little patient. It also might be a…

You might not have full control of what you eat, but you do have control over how much of it you eat. I was in your situation when I was going to college and still living at home. I still ate what my mom made, I just made sure to practice portion and kept myself active. I lost 52 pounds that way. I would also suggest that…

You will probably have to go into apps and devices and disconnect it. https://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/portal/articles/1082614-how-do-i-link-or-unlink-myfitnesspal-with-an-app-gallery-partner- If you are getting the calorie burns from the elliptical machine itself, it's still not going to be accurate.

Because of inconsistent logging and inaccuracies in your food log, you are eating more than you think. You need to be more consistent and accurate with your logging. Some days are not completed, especially on the weekends. You need to make sure that you are logging everything. Some of the entries that you are using may be…

I think it's also important to note that you also didn't have a meltdown over it either. Every so often someone will post that they had a day like yours, declare that they are a failure and decide to quit.

I just seen a video with him in it about crossfit. It was hilarious and impressive at the same time.

It sounds a lot like the snake oil one of my friends has started selling. The only thing missing was the worms.

I replace my battery about twice a year.

There is a way to make an adjustment to fix that. I can't remember if it's something on the dashboard or another app, but I will double check once I get to my pc.

I have had my Zip for over two years now. I really wasn't concerned with the sleep and stairs features so that's why I went with that instead of the One. Like malibu927 said you can find them at any retailer. I would suggest getting it from one of those places instead of trying to save a few bucks by getting it on ebay.…

It tells you the amount of calories you burn based on your stats and the number of steps you take (and how fast you take them). It's not exact but it does give a good estimate.

Well that stinks. I have an Android tablet but I don't use it to get on MFP very often.

There is a little camera icon on the far right where the bold, emoticon, etc. options are. Tap on that and then tap in the box where it says image.jpg. That will open up your camera roll.

Rocky and Bo are in for the doggie pics.

Agreed and to add: There are a few factors that can cause the OP to show a gain, but it doesn't mean that it's a fat gain. It could be that she weighed in at a different time, wearing different clothing, on a different scale. She may also be holding onto some water weight due to hormones. Maybe while you are learning more…
