Just buy fresh produce. I can guarantee the amount of money you spend on Packaged/Processed Food will be more than buying fresh Vegetables, Chicken etc etc. If you struggle with cooking, then get a WOK. Chop stuff up, throw it into a Wok, Add some seasoning - Instant Meal.

HI there, I hope you catch this reply. Basically, in a High Prot/Low carb diet, the body processes food in a different way. Because Protein is a GOOD food source, the body likes it. However, it takes the body alot longer to process it. If you eat 100 cals of protien, the body has to use 30 cals of energy to process it. If…

I learnt it on a Combat Survival Course years ago. During the 2nd week, we were only given rabbit to eat for 4 days. Never felt so tired lol. Then they told us that if you kept eating like that, you'd be dead in a few weeks! Thankfully they added raw potatoes and veg after that. Still felt bloody awful. I do remember at…

Trivia Fact: If you ate nothing BUT Rabbit, you would die of starvation. There are no real nutrients in Rabbit. After a few days of eating Rabbit, you would start to feel weak. After a few weeks, you would not be able function properly, chances are your eyesight would go. After that, you will be severely malnourished and…

I'm 45 now, lost around 5 stone (70lbs) in total over the last 2 years or so. Got loose skin around my tummy, and i know it'll never dissappear, but it doesn't bother too much if i'm honest. One thing I do religiously tho is use Bio Oil. Every morning, and every evening. Rub it into my tummy. :) I can't honestly say that…

Running is the biggest calorie burner, followed by swimming. If your into sport, then 90 mins of Football (Soccer) is always a good one, or Rugby. Tennis is also good, as is Squash (Racketball I think its called in the States) But if I want a good calorie burn, I tend to do a 10k run and try to get under 60 mins. It…

My Dad was at Sword Beach (British Landing Forces). He was in the East Lancashire Regiment, aged around 18 at the time.

The only way to make Chocolate "Zero Calorie", is if you eat a whole Bar, within the first mile of the Marathon you've just started.. :P

You know what I would do? I would invite them to join you for a month. Show them how much commitment it takes. Get them to record and weigh everything they eat, stick to a plan, get them to work out, assess there own performance, check their weigh-in's etc etc etc. Then I'm sure they will appreciate just how much effort…

Run! Just run. It doesn't have to be fast, it doesn't have to be continuous, just run :) Find a nice route, a park, a riverside, get out in the sunshine and run. I see more determination in someone that is struggling with weight, when I see them running through the park, than I do anywhere else. Run.

Drink alot of water, and if you've been doing Squats, try a cold/ice bath when you get in. THey recommend upto 10 mins in a cold bath. Most professional athletes use this method.

Agree with the answers on here tbh. Running is basically a weightloss/Fitness activity. It will help your Heart and Lungs. Too much running is going to burn up those calories that are needed to help fuel and repair your muscle tissue you use during your lifting sessions. From what i've leaned over the years, if you want to…

2 or 3 pieces of fruit in the day, as snacks is fine. Fructose (fruit sugar) is nothing like the refined white sugar you get in a packet. Dont worry about the sugar in Fruit, there are alot more good nutrients in fruit alongside the sugar content, whereas refined sugar contains nothing. Another tip is to vary the fruit you…

Wear whatever is practical for the Fitness session. If your doing lower body, then wear shorts to get full range of movement. Upper body, a loose t-shirt or something. If your going running, wear something that is light and wont restrict you. The PT instructor doesn't care about your clothes, he's more interested in your…

Here in the UK, we have gone through a regime against the effects of smoking. 30 years ago, roughly 80% of the population smoked, these days its more like 30%. This has been due to education, peer pressure, Health, and a number of Bans put in place. You cant smoke in Pubs or restaraunts, you cant smoke in other public…

No it doesnt work. My GF has the same problem. She has a slender build, but carries about 6kg of Breast tissue around with her (34 F). We have just recently bought her a new sports bra, plus a tight sports top. She wears both at the same time, and it has helped. She is able to do her 30 day shred routine without having to…

Its not that Carbs are bad, but they come in different forms. You can get Carbs from Vegetables, Fruit, Salad Veg, Oils and Fats, Natural Wheat products (Brown Bread, Brown Rice, Porridge, High Fibre Cereals). These are generally seen as GOOD Carbs. However, in this day and age, I would say the majority of Carbs tend to…
