I just bought my first vegan protein powder. Raw garden of life vanilla. I bought it because it was the cheapest non-soy one available :P It is a bit grainy and there's no way I'd eat it on its own, but it tastes great in oatmeal with some fruit :) I wouldn't say that I love it, but I think I'll buy it again when this one…

I haven't been successful with any less than 2T of chia seeds for 1 cup of liquid. If mine are too watery I'll add some shredded coconut to thicken it up~ yum!

These are so good! I love them. They hit me really fast too~ But, the 8oz can has 200 calories for only 8%abv, so I rarely drink them. So much sugar!!

Today I'm eating cabbage soup because I made a pot special for St. Pat's. Tomorrow I'll probably eat cabbage soup again because I accidentally made WAY too much. Maybe the day after too, if I can't manage to give any away. Not sure if I'll eat any more after that for a while though :P

Overcook your vegetables so they are super soft. Lentils have a good amount of protein.

Chia seed pudding! Mix 2T chia seeds with 1 cup almond or your choice of milk. Let sit in the fridge for at least an hour, overnight is best. You can mix in stevia/sweeteners, vanilla or other extracts. Sometimes I add shredded coconut or fruit~ yum :)

It wasn't as tomatoey and spicy as I remember regular chili being. It was really deep and intense. Kind of smokey. Almost reminded me of a bbq sauce kind of flavor? I added a ton of hot sauce to the top. He'd probably like it! the quinoa seemed a good analog/replacement for ground beef. They're both kind of round shaped :P

TRUTEIN. Nothing else compares. Smoothest texture, no weird chemical aftertaste. It is a whey/casein/egg blend. Just divine~ My favorite flavor is cinnabun but they are all really good.

You should check out "protein plus peanut flour." You can buy it online, I got mine from IHERB. So much cheaper than PB2, more protein, and has no added sugar or salt. You can add as much or as little as you want.
