An apple! Lots of fiber and water, a little bit sweet. The crunch is fantastic, so satisfying. :D Some people believe that eating an apple is better at keeping you awake than a cup of coffee. Great morning snack~ If you need a little bit more substance, eat some nuts or nut butter with it. I also love cucumber/bell pepper…

Last night I did an hour or so of hula hooping! Tonight I'm going to go to an electronic music concert, so I will be dancing for a few hours :) If my exercise isn't fun, then I probably won't stick with it. Dancing forever <3

Eating smaller meals, smaller portions. More fiber (i love you oatmeal) and fibrous veggies (broccoli forever) Less alcohol!!! (tough) Don't keep sweets/alcohol in the house so I am not tempted. Always stock some fresh fruits/veggies for snack attacks. Limit restaurant trips to one meal per week. Sleep at least 7 hours a…

Hi! I'm Ayla. I'm 5'4" 23 years old and I've been bouncing between 140 and 145 lbs for too long! My goal weight is 120, and I'd love to be 125 by the new year :) I am vegan and love eating vegetables and fruits, but I eat sooooo much >__< I need to cut down on the drinking too. I have a desk job (that I hate) but lead a…

"Mori-Nu" Silken Lite Tofu is only 120 calories for the entire block! (four servings total) And it is really high in protein, low fat. Blend with cocoa powder, stevia, vanilla extract. It has hardly any tofu flavor, incredibly bland. ^__^

Potatoes are delicious, healthy, and a good carbohydrate. As long as you don't drench them in butter, oil, cheese, sour cream, etc... :) I like to make oil free hash browns with bell pepper and onion and mushroom.

Steaming. Yes, Kale and collards would be good steamed. Just don't overcook or they will turn to mush! Add whatever spices you like when they are done. I like Mrs. Dash's "salt free lemon pepper" on greens. Or a squeeze of lemon juice. Citrus gives a nice bright flavor.

I use coconut oil because I do not eat dairy. However I would choose real butter over margarine because it is less processed.

Oatmeal, rice, dry beans, potatoes. Apples, bananas, oranges, carrots, broccoli. Eggs. You don't need fancy supplements. Buy things when they are on sale or in season. Freeze extras. Don't eat at restaurants more than one meal per week. Cook at home and make small portions. Never let food go to waste.

I got some of this bread from "healthy life" that is 35 calories a slice. Two pieces of toast with cinnamon at 75ish calories total is enough to keep my mind feeling full without guilt :) Drink a lot of water too! Or just go to bed~

9 weeks and 21 lbs!! Holy cow, you're killing it :D Remember that weight loss isn't linear, and it often comes off much faster in the beginning. So you can't expect to keep losing it as fast as you once did. It is totally normal to have a stall for a few weeks, then see a big drop. However your methods are still effective…

Zucchini noodles beat the pants off of shirataki noodles, for sure! Price, taste, texture, etc... Hands down! no comparison :)

You shouldn't eat below your BMR. That is the bare minimum calories that your body needs to function. Check out this thread for help with setting a calorie goal http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/819055-setting-your-calorie-and-macro-targets Something that helps distract me from hunger is to drink a lot of water.

inspiralized.com! tofu pasta is disgusting and not worth the money. get yourself a spiralizer for $20 ish and make "noodles" out of all your favorite vegetables! zucchini is the easiest and most common, i love butternut squash and cucumber too.
