Glad to share! I was very happy with the results, I may add 1/2 a banana tomorrow, just because I love bananas :)

Ok, so I basically just threw all of the above listed into the crock pot with 8 cups of water, 1 tbsp vanilla, 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and then one tsp of salt and let it cook on low over night. I then added 1 tsp brown sugar, 1/4 cup of milk and one sweet n low packet and it was great! I have breakfast for the whole week…

Do you know how much protein and fat is in that?
-
Wow, up until now I thought it was Ensure, which is basically just a drink full of vitamins. However, it's actually Carnation's Instant Breakfast Essentials, Rich Chocolate flavor. It has 2x Vitamin D, 2x Calcium, 21 vitamins and minerals and 13 grams of protein.

Never say to no to peanut butter! Hmmm...maybe that's my problem o_O
-
hahaha.....I'm looking forward to pasta :D
-
Well, I have not got a scale yet and I read somewhere that 1/4 equals 2 oz in pasta. Good to know I could do a cup, I may just do half a cup :). I know I could get lower calorie bread but I LOVE that bread and it is totally worth the extra calories, at least so far. So just to make sure I have it right, 1 cup of cooked…

Can you buy vegetable pasta? If so where, I'm in Southern California.

I can't see your food diary but are you getting enough water and watching your sodium intake? I'm a similar boat to you, I'm 5'5 and weighed myself 2 months ago and was 144, the highest I've ever been. I'm now down to 137 but I cannot seem to break it for the last month I've bounced between 137 and 139 even though I'm…

Could you incorporate it more into your day? That's what I do. Most mornings I have a chocolate Ensure banana shake for breakfast, chocolate Quaker rice crisps as a snack and cocoa covered almonds as a snack. I also get protein bars that are pretty much all chocolate, South Beach has a good dark chocolate one. That pretty…

^^^^this

That happens to me a few times lately and then fixed itself by the next time I checked.

HappyCampr1 do you not taste the mix in your coffee? I've never heard of unflavored protein mix? What's the calorie content?
-
Tuna would be one that comes to mind for me, they have those packages that you can by where they are already premade ready to eat. Fiber One granola bars with protein or South Beach has a really good dark chocolate protein bar this is only like 120 calories. Greek yogurt, but that won't hold up in a diaper bag :-/. I…

And...on that note a good recommendation for a good exercise tracking app....I have fitness buddy but I'm not loving it :/
-
Thanks everyone, yes TDEE...ugh. I'm just going to track my exercising in another app to avoid confusion :)
-
If I want to lose 1 pound a week what should my calories be using the TDEE method? Right now I'm at a stand still, I have not lost in 2 weeks.
-
Sigh....I forgot to press submit on the calculator....BMR is 1358 and TDEE is 2045.
-
Ok so my BMR is 1428 and my TDEE is 1496 and I average about 500 calories a day burned off from exercising. Should I eat those 500 back or just stick to my goal being 1450 and then net around 950?
-
Hi beatlegirl, I did calculate both and they came up with in the range of 1400-1500 (I can't remember the BMR off the top of my head but I think it was closer to 1400). But I'm a little confused about that, everyone keeps saying you want to eat back your calories so should bye goal be the 1400-1500 after exercising or…
-
Ok so my BMR is 1420.15 and I should be able to use the Harris Benedict Equation to determine my calorie intake but I'm stuck on what I should multiply by. I have an office job by I exercise for 45-60 minutes 6 days a week. Harris Benedict Formula To determine your total daily calorie needs, multiply your BMR by the…

Hi RunRuntheeRun, thank you for the feedback! I'm 5'5 and 139 (or 137.3 two days ago). I will look at what my BMR and TDEE should be I have not done that yet.
-
Thanks! My diary is public.
-
Also, how do I share my diary?
-
Collier78 why would I be off using measuring cups? All the food that I eat calls for serving size based on cups/measuring spoons so I follow that. The only food that I eat that requires actual weighing is turkey for my sandwich, which I only use 1 slice and I think it's a safe assumption that is under 2oz.

Wow! So many responses so quick! Thank you everyone for the ideas! Yesterday I ate my cheese and rice cake at 11 and then had another protein bar around 2 because I was getting really hungry. I'm going to get some more vegetables and fruit to have on hand too. I've read that you never want starve yourself, which is kind of…
