That's awesome! Feel free to add me - I could use the support and motivation, and I try to stay active in supporting others, too. :)

I have frequent arguments with myself (in my head - not out loud!) to get my butt out there and to make the right food choices. "Stop making excuses" is something I often have to say, 'cause I've got a million of them, too. Feel free to add me - I'm happy to help motivate, and could use some myself at times. :)

Welcome! Feel free to add me. :)

College: Georgia Bulldogs (GO DAWGS!!!) NFL: I live in GA, so it should be the Falcons, but they annoy the heck out of me, so as a former MA resident, I'm gonna go with the Patriots. (Not too picky here, as I like college football a lot more than the pros.)

Way to go! You look great! :)

Way to go, Labyars!!! W5D3 is a tough one -- I'm a little scared of it. And hooray for everyone else who is plugging along. It's difficult at times, but so worth it.

I have to force myself to go. Seriously, I argue with myself and have to say "stop making excuses!" Once I get there, I'm fine, and I always, always feel so great after I go. I try to remember that feeling, and that also helps motivate me.

erm...that should be "Not too shabby...." Apparently my coffee hadn't kicked in yet! And congrats to everyone who reached their goals, and for those who did not, pat yourselves on the back for your hard work and continued journey toward a healthier you. :D

Welcome! I didn't post much, either, for my first couple years on here (I was an on-again-off-again MFPer). But I committed to making a change in July, and have stuck with it. Over time, I've felt more comfortable posting on the forums on occasion. Good luck! :)

I love reading this check-in thread! It's great seeing everyone's progress, and helps motivate me to keep going, too. I did W5D1 today, and it felt great! I will probably repeat Day 1 again (I'm taking this slowly - repeating as I need to), then move to Day 2 in a few days.

Hooray!!! And congratulations! It put a smile on my face to read this today. :)

Congratulations!

Today was my first time using it, so I'm not certain. I'll check and see if that's an option. I really liked using the app. A voice cuts into my music and tells me when to start jogging, and when to walk. I've noticed that after I get to about 4 minutes of jogging, it becomes a little easier. I guess I kind of hit my…

I did Week 4 day 1 today, and for the first time did it outside with a C25k app. (I've been working exclusively on the treadmill until now, due to my first disastrous attempt at C25k a couple years ago that left me on crutches. I became wary of tripping and injuring myself again.) It was SOOO much easier outside than doing…

Can't wait to hear about your race today, Wulfax! I hope it went well. :)

So I weighed myself again later in the day and after my workout, and I weighed in 2 pounds lighter than I did this morning! Crazy, right? But I'm a little less worried now about the apparent "gain," because it must indeed have been some water retention. :)

It's been a stressful week, and for a…

Wow - congratulations! I'm 4 months into the same journey, and your success is an inspiration and great motivation for me to keep plugging along, as well. And you totally rock those costumes! :D

Thank you for this reminder! I lost a dear friend of mine from college to AIDS, and have a couple of friends living with HIV.

Congratulations! What a great achievement. :)

I'll definitely try that next time, thanks! :)
