I started my second round today and have a couple friends that are starting today as well. I'm gonna try to do it daily through Dec 31. Can't wait to see my results!! If you want to see some awesome results...so a search for 30 day shred results on the forums. Some of the photos are un-freaking-real...amazing results for…

I am lucky enough to have a supportive partner. I usually work out alone, but he is happy to join if he is around. He's also not that hard to convince to take an after dinner walk...despite walking being his least favorite form of locomotion. On the down side, his sweet tooth is about as big as mine and cookies do make it…

Congrats on your weight loss so far. 40 lbs is great!! I agree with other posters regarding body dysmorphia. Sometimes it even comes down to the day I am having. If it is a good one, I can appreciate my weight loss and see differences in my body. I see it a whole thing that is improving. When I am having a stressful day or…

Awesome news, good for you...aaannnnnd keep it up!! I concur on a special home brew batch! :drinker:  :drinker:

Posers, haters, and liars.... Horseradish. Flaky people and those that never take responsibility, accountability, and ...conversely, people who are unable to ever see things from another's perspective. Those that constantly complain and never work to overcome their issues or look for solutions. My stupid car that has been…

  I agree with the comment about the teeth and about the color of your urine. It should be clearish to light yellow. If its dark, drink more clean water. I'd like to add.... Soda and artificial sweeteners are also full of hard to pronounce chemicals which are not good for your body's many filtration systems…

Black yoga pants and a green tank top. No shoes. Thank you Florida, for being in the 70's in November. And thank you job, for being from my house (ie, pants, shoes, brushed hair optional)

Wow...awesome stories here! I was halfway through an 86 day 11,000 mile cross country trip. I was in San Francisco and steadily working my way up to my high weight of 193.... Now, I am 24 lbs lighter (I'm a slow and steady kind of gal), determined to keep going to my goal. Eff you holidaze! You will not deter me from this…

 but no, seriously :grumble:

The only reason I give any credit to astrology is because the damned descriptions of me are spot on... I'm a Scorpio. I hear I sting... Not sure where they get off thinking I'm such a man magnet though. Truth could be no further on that one.... Perhaps, though because I am also loyal...also a stereotypical trait. I am from…

I'm beginning to think there is a market for a dual purpose stapler weapon of some sort....Looks like it'd definitely save some of you folks... Now accepting investors, prototype soon to follow..

Okay, you and kapeluza are my first picks for my zombie survival team. Recruitment starting soon. You know, just in case.
-
I wanna hang with kapeluza when the zombies come! I have--- a small dry erase/bulletin board with the following items attached to or hanging from it: -a collection of lanyards and name badges from past conferences -a crown royal bag full of dry erase markers (asst colors) -3 buttons/pins (such as those you attach to…

Yay! I am happy there is a group like this  I have been an activist since 2006. I mostly work on energy related issues. I am lucky enough right now to be paid to do this work. Even if I wasn't, I'd be working on something... I have a keen interest in energy and water related issues, organic/local food, and natural…

If you drink at all (even socially), you may want to stop that for a while as well. At least til you get the hang of not smoking. I find that even one drink can trigger cravings. It takes practice to be a non smoker. I still cave occasionally (about once every 2 weeks) and it creates tons of guilt. But it never triggers a…

My guess is binge time or a buffet dinner that is difficult to calculate. There are some resources online that will tell you that the average plate at a chinese buffet has 2,000 calories. I try to stay away from quick add, personally. I use it when I had little nibbles of things that are hard to count and I always estimate…

You really do look great!! Congrats on the loss! If your budget is an issue with new clothes (I know it often is for me), do you have access to second hand or thrift stores? Great way to get a few fitting things until you know you will be one size
-
I already work from home and have been doing so for about 3 years. I wax and wane in my productivity levels and there are plenty of distractions (cats, chickens, roomies, and the like).. I think I need a switch for a while, though not if that includes a long commute. Fuh-get that!

I joined late, but beat the challenge anyway...yaaay sips non artificially sweetened beverage :drinker:

I've done a few day fasts and was about to start a week fast, but immediately broke my juicer with a beet.... I need a better juicer and am totally ready to give it a shot. I hear that the more dependent you are on sugar, caffeine, and the like the longer the bad phase at the start lasts. I guess that is the reset..?

We do have it made  Where in nofla are you?

Please define central Florida:wink:

If I keep up my slow but steady .5 lbs per week, I'll be 148 lbs. That is 2 lbs below my current goal. My final goal will depend on body composition. But, I am working on ramping up my game so I can reach my goal by May. 24 lbs in 6 months? Totally doable!

Mandy in Gainesvile here!

I'm 5'5 and started at 193, and was beginning to fill out my size 16's. I am now 172 and my 14's are fitting nicely, with some too loose. I can also fit into some of my junior sized clothes..mostly 13's. I've never really set a size goal...I've always worn bigger sizes, even when I was a smaller person. At 130, I think I…
