I am at 1 lb per week (cause I feel that is sustainable for me) and 1600 cals per day. I usually stay around 1500 anyway, but it feels nice to have that extra if I need it. I also have mine set at sedentary since I work at a desk. I don't eat back all of my exercise calories (gasp!), just making sure I stay above 1200 net.…

I have experienced this. I lost 20 lbs by overly restricting my calories and as soon as I started eating normally again, I gained 30 lbs back over the next several months. It was terrible. I was super tired all the time and had insatiable hunger. Not only does it create a bad yo-yo cycle, but you can cause long term damage…

There are tons of fun things to do with them! I have a few dvd's that have suggestions. One of my favorite ab moves is the hand foot pass. Lay down flat with arms extended over head with ball, jack knife your legs and arms up and pass the ball to your feet. Legs and arms down. Back up to pass the ball back to your hands.…

Good advice. A 5 lb jump on Monday can freak anyone out. I like to play games with the scale. Friday is my official weigh in & log it day for MFP. Sometimes I weigh myself on Monday just to prove a point that I need to behave better on the weekends. Then I'll weigh on Wed to see my normal and hopefully slightly decreased…

For one thing, exercise increases your metabolism and improves your mood. Both good things when trying to lose weight and stay positive. I agree. Seeing the daily fluctuations drives me mad. So, I try to weigh only once per week and log on that day: Friday (first thing in the am). Sometimes I weigh myself in the middle just cause I can't stand the suspense, but I never log those cause I have had the misfortune of having to log gains after logging losses…
