  • I continue to run on the days where it's not too cold ( above -20C) and snowshoe...really its a question of ice and daylight more than anything. I love winter running! Skating / hockey is also good depending if you have a local rink, or arena. (as others have said) We have groomed crosscountry trails in my village too...…
  • A few things. -I chose ahead of time whether this is an event that I'm willing to go over my calories for or not. Ie. for my birthday I figured I would go over, for a halloween party I chose not to. This way I select a few important events in a year vs. every party I go to. In addition as we live in the middle of nowhere…
  • I have to have protein, my current kick is 1 piece of toast with 1tbsp and 1 bananda on it. Previously I would have 2 eggs and one piece toast (dry)... otherwise I'm creeping the lunch room around 10am looking for snacks. It may seem like a lot of calories, but it keeps me saited, and I find it's easy to incorporate into…
  • Same experiance as most the peeps here. I started with doing them all on my knees, the next week I would force myself to do one standard, then fall to my knees, next time 2 and so forth. A month or so in I could do 10-12 of most (not the clappy one though, I just fall and laugh) , but mind you this is combined with weight…
  • I weight 165lbs, I'm aiming for 6 lbs.
  • Great job!
  • Getting married July 12, 2014. Currently at 166lbs 5'6, I am hoping to lose 15lbs at least by the wedding.
  • I live in a very remote area. My concern is not so much people as wildlife and stray dogs. I run with dog spray andI make sure my Ipod is low enough I can hear wildlife/people around me and I am constantly on the lookout.
  • You are doing great! But I am going to suggest that you work on making your logging as perfect as possible.. it seems like you're not logging everything (like cooking oils and extras) and seems like there is just missing food in general. Are you weighing and measuring everything? Also I seen a day of 1000cal exercise…
  • ^ This. Working out reduces my cramps, then I get to eat more chocolate.
  • I can only speak for myself, but I struggle with increased male attention. It makes me highly uncomfortable.. Usully around 150-160lbs I start to "freak out" a bit. .. and start to eat more.
  • I tried doing C25K last year and had terrrible pain in my legs/calves. It didn't matter how slowely I eased into it, how long I warmed up for I couldn't run 90 seconds without pain.... then I visited the doctor who refered me to a podiatrist. Apparently I have super high arches ( "born to wear high heels" he said). One…
  • My fiance has gout and honestly even though he's had it for the better part of a decade he still doesn't know all the triggers. He has significantly reduced his wild game meat/ red meat intake since we moved in together. (Simply because I don't eat a whole lot of it) and it reduced signficantly. He lives at camp half the…
  • I have been on WW a number of times, including rejoining about a month ago. I noticed on one of the post over there that someone mentioned using MFP every now and then to see how much they consume including fruits and veg... so I took a look over here and it was a much better fit for me. I really enjoy seeing food a whole…
  • Hello, I'm Jennifer a 28 year old female from lovely northern Alberta. I'm currently doing the 30ds but I've been trying to fight off the boredom by doing it alternate days (I'm doing brazilion butt lift everyother day) I started at 183 now 177.2lbs.. I'm not sure how long I've been doing it for, about 2 week (7 days of…
