Let's shame him into doing something! Let's make him feel woefully inadequate and maybe then he'll do something! Yeah! :noway:

SW: 243 GW: 185-or so. Don't really care too much about the scale weight. I care about how my size 12-14's fit and maybe even a size 10 here and there? I also care about my 2K time and vertical leap height for the sports I play. I am still not where I'd like to be in terms of fitness so I am focusing on those goals. The…

You're way too nice.

You get down with your bad self, dude!

Stop running. Turn, face the dog and authoritatively yell "NO" or "STOP" or "GO HOME." If the dog still advances towards you, kick it. Hard. In the belly or ribs. Throwing a rock at its feet helps too. As a passionate dog owner I would do those exact things (and have done them to dogs who have charged me or my dog). Acting…

You know, it's a good thing someone in that outfit can write lyrics because if their lyrical ability matched their songwriting ability, they would have just released the same song over and over again.

Oh yeah, this one for sure.

You must be so much fun at parties...

Did you clean your house prior to getting fat/while you were getting fat? Do you think the level at which you cleaned your house made any significant difference in your weight or body composition? The answer is probably yes to the first question and no to the second. Am I right? If that's the case, what makes you think it…

Actually, I lift barefoot all the time. Much better for posture. If I lift in a conventional gym I wear Converse.

I've done a muddy Sprint (Amesbury, MA) and the Fenway Park Sprint in 2012. I thought the Amesbury one was tough for different reasons than the Fenway one... namely running straight up the side of a ski slope, but the Fenway one required a different kind of grit to get up and down flight after flight of stadium steps. I…

Maybe they didn't recognize you... with all that muck on your face 'n all... I KID! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKKI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You deserve the best, because you're one of the best ♥

Been there. Not an easy thing but in the end I know I made the right choice. Lean on your friends and loved ones, take time to practice self-care, even if it's as simple as doing your nails or getting your eyebrows down, and be gentle with yourself in this time. You're going to feel *a lot* of different and at times…

Dear Jeebus, why?! Hahaha mostly kidding, but that's a long workout! That said, you don't have to eat back all of your exercise calories. I usually only eat back about half of mine.

You go boss! I quit three years ago and it is the best thing I ever did for myself. I am seriously still so stoked that I did it. Good luck!

Add in a few servings of nuts/seeds. Use full fat or part skim cheese and milk. Eat yogurt for a snack with some nuts and some fruit added in. It's not that hard to get your cals up.

I'm coming over for dinner...

Just, don't work out today. And don't work out tomorrow either. And if you don't feel like it Saturday, then don't do it then either. Or Sunday. I mean, you're never realllllly going to feel like working out, so if you need someone to tell you to do it each time... well, it's not like you're actually committed right? So no…

I usually just call them "days." As in, in all of my "days" I simply eat what fits my calorie and macro goals. Simple, really.

Saddest burger ever. I'll take your pie.

...is that it's delicious?

Because it's called GOMAD. I don't do acronyms.

Currently, these two phrases are duking it out for the coveted position of "fav" from this post: "Or "Cocteau can choke on tripe." You are correct on the former; the latter sentiment is only correct in a hypothetical way as tripe requires careful cooking and I have been known on occasion to indulge--yet only at fine…

How long did you give each of the things you tried to work? (FYI, I also have a thyroid issue, PCOS and insulin resistance as a result of it). I follow a relatively low carb lifestyle but never did a specific "low carb diet" such as Atkins or South Beach, per se. I know I do better with weight loss when I limit my carb…

Pay no mind to all of this. In all likelihood, you are still eating too many calories and expending too little through activity. Track your food. Weigh and measure every single thing you eat. Record it. Drink water, only because it will make you feel better, not because it will help you "rid yourself of toxins." Eat good,…

It literally does not matter.

I am. No one ever asks me that though.

I leave the house at 7:45 and do not get home most nights until about 7. I have a very active dog that needs a ton of exercise to be happy and healthy and a boyfriend who lives 30 mins away. In addition I am president of my football club, I volunteer regularly and I have an active social life. My point is this, I am busy,…

Life happens, your numbers are going to be in the red, your sodium will be all over the place. It.Takes.Time. No really, say it with me, It.Takes.Time. Keep doing the work, eventually you'll get into a rhythm and before you know it, BAM, no more low sodium diet and just regular old watching what you eat and moving around a…
