Protein powder doesn't need to scare you. Some of them are chock full of sugars and things, so look for one that is whey isolate and doesn't contain much if any sugar. The calories in whey powder work just like the calories in all other foods. Think of whey powder as something to help you hit your protein macro is you're…

My favorite breakfast lately is weird, but I love it. I have half a can of pumpkin puree, a tablespoon of almond butter, and an egg, cinnamon, mix it together and microwave it for two minutes. Then a add a scoop of vanilla whey protein powder and a tad of water and mix it all together and eat it.

I get mine on sale at Gap. I also like Levi's at Kohls.

I can't see your diary so it's hard to say but the most likely reason is that you are eating too much. You may be eating healthfully but your portions are probably too large. If you truly don't think this is the case you need to see your doctor to have your thyroid checked as well as possible insulin resistance. But those…

I have PCOS as well. There's a group as well, just do a search. Watch your portions and calories carefully, try low carb. The weight will come off but it takes more work for us than for most people.

If I were you I would only WOD once and if you felt like you had the energy to do more incorporate an extra lifting session.

My fitbit has been very helpful for my weight loss, but isn't necessary to get the same results. I walk to get 10,000 steps a day (approx. 5 miles) and I eat at a calorie deficit. I try to eat healthy foods so that I feel full and satisfied while staying under my calorie goal. The fitbit simply tracks my steps for me and…

Yup. This. First gain muscle. Then lose fat while retaining muscle to reveal abs. This requires lifting heavy weights and lots of dedication.

Only my absolute best friends know about my fitness and weight goals. I have way too many friends on facebook to post something I think is so private. MFP friends are all people I don't know in real life, plus I would never post anything innapropriate.

Deadlifts and back squats are my favorite to see increase, but I have to work harder for increases on my push presses and jerks.

I'm looking for friends too! I'll add you!

I eat as paleo as possible (no dairy except ghee). I eat fruit probably once a day and a serving of nuts daily. Coconut cream in my coffee. Since starting crossfit and paleo I've actually gained a good bit of weight, but my lifts have also nearly doubled and I started out probably too thin. I feel much healthier now. I…

I'm doing two sessions tomorrow (Wednesday), a long walk on T-day, and then probably a double session on friday.

your time doesn't matter- as long as you've put it all out there you've done a wonderful job!

I eat a low-carb diet to help control/slow my cancer. It's not something I'm experimenting with or ever plan on stopping. I'm happy to help anyone who needs help figuring out the low-carb thing. It can be tricky at first!

probably not

I've had a pixie and long hair.... men by far prefer it long. I got comments like "why'd you cut off your sexuality", or "wow, are you gay now?" when I had a pixie. But I will say that the few men who liked my short hair really really seemed to like it.

when I can tell from a profile picture that that person has bad lifting technique! Rounded backs, over-extended hips, etc. make me crazy! Especially because if it's your profile pic I assume that means you think you look good and are doing it right!

I have a pair of reeboks, and they're great. I wish I had gotten the slightly more expensive Adidas because I've heard they're even more stable (plus I really like the orange-red color). But my stability on lifts are much better in my reeboks and than in normal trainers.
