  • Don't forget too that sometimes the label is inaccurate - for example, Hamburger Helper nutrition info is given using ground beef and whole milk. Those of us who use ground turkey/chicken/pork/veggie crumbles and skim milk, soy/almond/rice milk, may be adding our versions of the foods to the database because the package…
  • The only reason I see to log it (which I log mine) is so you can refer back to it later and see how much you are drinking and see if you want to make changes to how much diet soda you drink. Whether you drink it or not is totally up to you, also whether or not you log it. I just log it because I am trying to be honest…
  • So awesome! Congrats on the weight loss and the anniversary with MFP! You are such an inspiration!
  • When I'm at home, I eat around 3:30-4PM, but right now I eat anywhere from 6 - 8 PM because I'm on vacation for a few months at a friend's place. For me the time I eat dinner really depends on when I got up (I work from home so I don't have a set schedule I have to keep), ate breakfast, ate lunch, etc. Tonight I know I'll…

I've used the 30 minute and 1 hour walking, which combines the walking with other exercises along the way as well so you're not just walking. You might feel a little silly walking in place at first, but the workouts are easy and fun. Plus, at least for me,…
  • I am so happy for you! And I must say I love your strategies. I've done the hate myself for going off the diet thing (this past weekend for example, at a convention and NOT enough healthy options on the menu) and then I don't go back. I seriously know where you are coming from. This is inspiring because I know it CAN be…
  • Generally I eat 1 cup cereal with 1/2 cup skim milk, 2 slices of Sara Lee's 45 Calories & Delightful bread w/ 1 tbsp of peanut butter, and a glass of water. Sometimes I'll have a slice or two of American Cheese instead of the peanut butter, but usually it's the peanut butter as the cheese is ridiculously high in fat &…
  • I've always been told that it is best to bake in the oven. I have had nutritionists tell me that I need to make sure my chicken is either baked, or prepared on a grill which will allow the excess fat to drip/drain away. The cooking method is totally up to you though.
