  • ISN to get off my butt and get rid of this weight. And get some sleep.
  • I made a Burrito Casserole, but I substituted Gardein's Ultimate Beefless Ground for the ground beef. You can find the recipe here - http://blogchef.net/burrito-casserole-recipe/. (I added more sour cream, so each serving ended up being 534 calories, but it was very filling).
  • Everyone is different. It may be that MFP's calorie goals don't work for you. They do work for me - I've been losing weight by making sure to stay under my calorie goals and exercise. Maybe it just isn't for you in particular.
  • I've had a Droid - it was terrible. Never again. My friend has a Windows phone and hates it with a burning passion. I have an iPhone 5c (I had a 4 previously) and I love it - I'll never have anything but an iPhone again, seriously.
  • Looks That Kill by Motley Crue (they're in my city tonight on the Final Tour but I decided not to go)
  • The Bleeding by Five Finger Death Punch
  • Sugar, We're Goin' Down by Fall Out Boy via Pandora Internet Radio.
  • I love Panic! at the Disco! Most of the bands I like don't come here so when they do I jump on it. P!atD is on of those bands that I'll probably never get to see live. :/
  • Vince has been doing that for years. I saw them twice on the Generation Swine tour back in 1997 and he did it then. He's not forgetting words, I think he's out of breath. :P
  • Shinedown/Three Days Grace/P.O.D. in March 2013. Didn't stay for Shinedown because my leg was hurting so bad from having been penned up in a corner of the barricades - but I'm not that big of a Shinedown fan anyways - went for Three Days Grace. :) Next show: Uproar Festival Sept 6, featuring Godsmack, Seether, Buckcherry,…
  • MFP adjusts your calories based on what MFP says you *should* be burning per day and what Fitbit says you burned. So, for example, if MFP says you should be burning 2,500 calories per day and Fitbit says you have burned 2,300, MFP will take 200 calories away from your allotment to make up for the difference between what…
  • I honestly haven't been able to come up with any rewards. The things I would want are things that would be "expensive" and if I didn't have the money to do them when I reached the appropriate goal, I'd lose interest in it. But smaller things just don't seem to have any pull for me. :/
  • Normally I only eat one meal per day. I eat different meals each day - but it's almost always dinner/supper time that I eat at. I do it because often times if I eat more than one meal per day, I get sick to my stomach - and have since I had my gallbladder out. I usually eat whatever I happen to fix for dinner. LOL Lately…
  • No particular order: Black Veil Brides Falling in Reverse Asking Alexandria Sixx:A.M. Guns N' Roses Motley Crue Linkin Park The Worshyp My Darkest Days Nickelback (yep I'm a fan and I admit it) There are tons of others though - Halestorm, Evanescence, Type O Negative, Def Leppard, the list could go on and on and on.
  • I have a big butt and hips, but the majority of my weight is on my belly as well. It's a pain in the butt for me to lose it or tone my belly because I have a hiatal hernia that is currently keeping me from doing crunches or other abdominal toning exercises. However, I am noting that just walking and eating better is…
  • I think it is a matter of choice to be honest. I know a lot of people who have been on plans like Weight Watchers who were told that they did not need to count veggies and lost weight just fine. Other people need to count every single calorie that goes in their mouth. But truthfully, with some fruits and veggies, how do…

  • The actual recipe, and this is from the Dukan Diet Facebook Page is actually: 2 tablespoons oat bran 1 tablespoon wheat bran 1 egg 2 tablespoons fat-free fromage blanc Fat-free fromage blanc is basically fat free cream cheese. There is NO actual artificial sweetener in the recipe, unless you take the "sweet" option. There…
  • It really is mostly a matter of waiting. That and seeing if you can find items that keep you full. I use some of the Smart Ones TV dinners and those and a salad keep me full until I'm ready to eat again. If I do get the hunger monster, I grab one of my diet snack cakes or snack bars. If you are too far under your calorie…
  • I've seen the sweatbands I just don't remember where. Most likely you would find them in a sporting goods store. Sony *used* to make some really good water/sweat resistant headphones/earbuds. I haven't looked for them lately as I don't run. LOL
  • Firework is my favorite Katy Perry song right now. LOL I have a lot of 80's Nelson, Motley Crue, etc in iTunes, I just haven't put it on the iPod lately. :D
  • Right now on my iPod - Nickelback, My Darkest Days, Evanescence (my favorite type of music is rock/metal), Katy Perry, Mariah Carey, Rihanna, En Vogue, Christina Aguilera, Lady Antebellum, Colbie Calliat, Cascada. I listen to a lot of different music but the rock/metal is my favorite.
  • I know the feeling - I get hungry too, but a friend of mine who lost a ton of weight (over 100 lbs) gave me a great idea - if you can stand them, eat a few raw veggies. Virtually no calories and you'll stop feeling hungry. I used to have people tell me to chew gum, but with each stick of gum having 10 calories, I decided…
  • I don't eat peanut butter, I eat SunButter Natural because we have peanut allergies in our house. Unfortunately it is high in fat and calories so I don't eat it very often. A 2TBSP serving has 200 calories and 16g of fat. I will admit however that I usually only use 1TBSP and that is more than enough for me. LOL
  • I only "eat back" my calories after exercise if I happen to be hungry. If I'm not hungry, I don't eat them back. Since I usually do my exercise right before bed, I am usually not hungry and so do not need to eat back the calories.
  • Considering I'm wearing a concert t-shirt right now and I'm 35, and I'll be going out in public here shortly, I'd say your boyfriend needs to chill out. ;)
  • I've been eating Sara Lee 45 Calories & Delightful in Multi-grain. The only problem your husband might have with it that I've seen is the crust has oats and the like on it, but the crust could always be cut off.

  • My doctor and a nutritionist he sent me to said absolutely *no* sparkling water. Both said pretty much all "sparkling" water is flavored and most have sweeteners in them. They are basically a clear equivalent to soda/pop and not to touch them. I was told that if I did use them to break my soda habit, I would then have to…

  • I actually highly disagree with all those "studies" because frankly it is on a person-by-person basis. Each person is different. If I drink diet pop, I LOSE weight or at least maintain whatever weight I am, I do *not* gain unless I drink regular pop. Diet pop does *not* stimulate my appetite at all. I do not crave sweets…

  • I've done the over the calories thing - I just say to myself "ok, you blew it today, but tomorrow it'll be better." I just wish MFP would quit with the "if every day were like today" thing because it really is a downer if you accidentally went over your calories. :P Like everyone else said, don't NOT eat because that isn't…
  • Your doctor should have given you something that listed all the foods you should no longer be eating. The only time following the diet is difficult is if all your favorite foods are on it, or if you are like me and what you eat does not matter. My diet was not changed by my doctor because even foods on the "safe" list…
