1200 calories is the minimum anyone should be eating. 1200 is considered the starvation level. If you eat less than that your metabolism will slow down and your body thinks it's starving. As a consequence, your body will hang onto the food you eat in the form of fat because it doesn't know when its next meal will be.

True, there are carbs in vegetables, but not many. I believe one full cup of lettuce only results in 5 grams of carbs. That amount is negligible. It would take a very large salad to get that many carbs. However, I do agree that the cheese is loaded with calories. Restaurants probably use cheese made with whole milk rather…
