I agree to a point, which is part of why i only lasted 2 months on WW and why i cringed when my mom offered to pay for a membership so i could go with her. I was STARVING all the time, partially because i wasn't using my weekly points but also because i was under-eating without realizing i was under-eating until i put my…

So much easier to just shop online, no critics or people speaking without thinking!

me either, but this cashier thought it was weird...

The point wasn't that the pants didn't fit right. it was that the cashier thought it was weird that they didn't fit right.

Same, took a week off from the gym too. I was dreading the gym last night but i'm really happy i went and am back on track calorie wise. I tried to use last week as a "reset" week, i gave myself a break and now im back at it.
-
Aside from all the advise above, if you really truly only have 10-11lbs left to go, i'd suggest looking into a good Strength Training program, like New Rules of Lifting.

After an unplanned week off and food, food and more food im ready to get back to it, but dreading the gym this week :/

i hurt my knee back in October and it took me about a month to get back into the gym. I used the month as a mental break, i still tracked but wasn't as accurate and wasn't exercising. Did i gain a few pounds? Yes, however, i feel much better than i did before i took my mental break. Rest up and try to stick to your calorie…

what weigh training program are you following and why are you not taking any rest days?
-
i find i stay fuller longer with increased fat and protein.
-
are you weighing and measuring everything? Have you started a new exercise program/schedule? How much weight do you have to lose? How'd you calculate your calorie deficit?
-
in my opinion, i agree with everybody recommending weighing your food. i also recommend looking into New Rules of Lifting for Women or Strong Curves and cutting some of the cardio!
-
If you haven't already, i highly recommend picking up the New Rules of Lifting book and reading it!
-
find a class or a program you like. For me, its Spin Class and i'm currently doing the New Rules of Lifting for Women program. I find if i like what im doing im going to stick with it. Why are you eating low carb?
-
my examples were to show CICO, maybe not the best but that was the point of the post.

^^^ THIS! i have a set schedule, because I'm the type of person that gets frazzled if my schedule gets out of wack. I have Spin on Mondays, Lift on Wednesday and Friday and do body weight and intervals on Saturday or Sunday. I also tend to buy food in bulk, for breakfast and lunch, makes logging easier and i know what I'm…

are you doing any kind of strength training, as Retirehappy said, they have lost inches with a good strength training program. As have i. Over the past year i have not lost much weight but strength training has helped a lot with losing inches and gaining confidence. For me, its a mental struggle more than anything, and i…

are you weighting everything and logging accurately?

i haven't dealt with it on here, but one of my friends on facebook sent me a PM about her wonderful exercise/weight loss program, after i posted about an amazing run i just went on.... i almost deleted her but she hasn't bothered me since. HOWEVER if it persists, definitely delete!
-
getting back into the gym routine. I gained 5-10lbs in october because i was out of the gym due to a knee injury and i stopped logging/caring. So back to cutting at 5% and trying to up my calories and eat better.
-
complete agree, I used to weigh myself weekly, now I am weighing myself monthly. I am trying to get away from the whole "the scale dictates my progress" mentality. I am finding I am happier with progress made at the gym than I ever was with the scale.

do you feel like you're eating enough?
-
start with eating your budgeted calories. All that is really needed for weight loss is diet, exercise helps but is not required. for now focus on you and your little guy and eating your budgeted calories. the rest will come with time. How many calories/day are you allowing yourself?
-
i got ripped apart because people are saying "oh another one of those eat more people" and "of course they're not accurate" im sorry im not one that believes if im not losing weight i need to automatically decrease my calories! i've really had to coach myself into not being the "OMG I GAINED 2LBS MUST CUT CALORIES" i'm so…
-
yes, i posted it to the fitbit and general group. of course i got ripped apart in the general group for posting it

it doesn't sound like you have enough rest days, when i started New Rules of Lifting for Women they recommend 2-3 days MAX and a little cardio after Stage 1. My routine right now is 2 days cardio and 2 days lifting. Need to make sure you get that rest. I'd also recommend looking into New Rules of Lifting for Women, Strong…

you cannot gain muscle while in a deficit. HOWEVER you can lose fat to expose the muscle you have and reshape your body. If you want to gain muscle you're going to have to eat, at least if not more than, at maintenance. Are you following a specific strength training program?

Coming from a kid whos mother had me in WW while i was still in high school and who was always up my butt about my weight, i would back off a little and don't harass her about nibbling. granted it is not the most healthy way to eat, but you don't want her to start sneaking food and hiding food and having a really bad…
