There is no correlation between caliper measurements being a direct predictive indicator for when you will see abs. It basically is getting your bodyfat down to the levels that were mentioned above. It doesn't matter if the abdominal muscles are developed heavily or not. They will show.

Please seek help from a professional. I don't want to be terse and brief.. but this really is the best and most responsible advice I can give.

I would love to post more here, but I don't feel I have enough knowledge or evidence to back up my claims. All I know is that I have estimated my BMR to be around 1700 and my TDEE to be between 2400 and 2600. I am a 5'7" male and I weight 190 lbs. I am trying to lose weight by netting around 2000-2200 lbs. Gradually. I am…

The question to me was: "Do you see yourself counting calories forever"? If I had a job where I didn't have to travel often and stay in different cities. I could see myself in a few years not needing to log every day because I would have a good routine. However, because I am constantly in new/different places, and in…

I get really "antsy" when anyone comments on how I relate to the entire Maslow's hierarchy of needs.

And @sherryteach - Stated something extremely well here! I personally don't have non-logging days anymore because I take everything into account. Which means I no longer "start and re-start"... I just "continue" and enjoy the process.

^^this OP - I am not sure if you are still reading. Most of the responses have been "direct", but ultimately true. No gifs have been posted yet which means that there are many people in their own way weighing in and giving you their honest opinion and trying to help. What you do, and how you feel after you read all these…

This is a real interesting post OP I have some really good friends on MFP and my friends list has slowly grown "organically" You wrote: I think it really gets down to what you define as "support". I really think it comes from your frame of reference. I personally feel that I am responsible for my own motivation and my own…

This challenge really helps! This week I got up at 5:50, 5:32, 5:44, 5:48, 5:45 to workout. 3.0 more miles today. This is the way to do it. Plus the fact that you could write it down so well signifies that these changes are already deep inside of you. I love this kind of NSV! :drinker:
