Everyone - Thanks so much for doing this. My goal is 65 this month! Got 3.4 in this morning. And Dave: Like the new Idea " I am all about the goal streak" count me in.

Added some more miles 38.3 total - Definitely am going to bring it next month Bought new running shoes today!

This makes too much sense! :)

Hi, It sounds like you are doing some kind of sociology experiment or psychology experiment to engage people in discussion and debate. Perhaps going to the forums on debate.org might be an interesting place to discuss the massage chairs?
-
Thanks for your work here! Glad your back is on the mend!

I was a member of PF for one year and left when I realized that I truly wanted to deadlift, and that smith machines are a poor (and dangerous) replacements for free weights. I saw the chairs and was never tempted to try them out. I did not perceive any value in them. I think that they are basically a product that is…

Very poor month: Total only 32.3 miles - Goal of 75 but doing this is so important - thank you to all who do the upkeep of this challenge! --> note to admins - sorry about the name change - was chevy_smart and chevy_skynyrd - (Gawd - I sound so schizophrenic! LOL)
-
Excellent - Positive start to the year!
-
My thoughts exactly! :-)

I walked 3.3 miles in the morning. Did a "test run" this afternoon to see how long it would take me to do 1.0 miles (on my home hilly course) then walked some more 2.2 miles total distance today 6.5 --> total for challenge: 9.4

Dude. that was too funny!

@loulamb thanks for the input.. Definitely the core... Thanks!
-
@sijomial - Thanks for the great advice and knowing that someone my age has had success really helps out - Thank You! @Sarauk2sf - Great Advice. You nailed it. I wanted a break from losing for a few months while I get used to lifting heavy weights again. And I definitely see your point about the high BF% thanks for the…

Love the "Jingle your *kitten*" challenge! Hi, My goal is to log my progress as often as possible Early AM Walk - with jogging intervals 2.9 miles total

Hi - Name change - formerly Chevy_Smart - New Name Chevy_Skynyrd - Long live southern rock! I am in for 75 miles again. To all who maintain this challenge - I thank you
-
User Name change from Chevy_Smart to Chevy_Skynyrd Sorry to say I only made 42 out of 75 for the month.
-
I have been lifting more so I haven't gotten in as many miles. I still am going to get as close as I can to goal :-)
-
I am way behind, but that is all the more reason to post. These challenges aren't when you are doing great. you can't just sweep "non activity" under the carpet. 22.5 miles / 75 - got to get crackin' (I have been lifting however :-) )

This worked for me 1.) Click on My Home 2.) Click on Goals on the bar underneath 3.) Click on the green button "Change Goals" 4) Select "Custom" then click on "Continue" 5.) Change "Net Calories Consumed to your desired level" 6.) Click on "Change Goals" at the bottom of the page. hope this helps :-)

McCloud - That is exactly what it is all about. There are so many people here who are hell bent on losing x lbs per month and starving themselves. You pretty much stay the same weight, but change your "composition" and look at you! This is really impressive man! (*) I just started strong lifts so I am looking forward to…

In to read and learn because I just started doing the program. The app is excellent!

^^^ @Sarauk2sf - This is a very good way to sum things up. Thanks! :)

I am a "getting back into it" runner. I am not immune to emotional eating. What has helped and this is a small thing is making sure i have the "right breakfast" (I eat oatmeal) and that really helps me get started on the right way.
