Thanks for the heads up. I was wondering who the next character would be about. I thought they might stick with other characters from the graphic novels, but I don't recognize that name.

I am kind of interested in the black and white version of the pilot, but I also don't wan't to kid myself. There is a B&W version of The Mist (also Frank Darabount) on that DVD,and frankly, it didn't seeem to make it any better of an experience for me.

Most of what you say stems from them having to leave the Atlanta camp. They left the camp because of the walker attack. Rick did not lead the walkers there, he just wasn't there and had three other guys and some of the weapons so he didn't help in the camp defense. They couldn't have stayed there forever.
