i'm 5' 4", highest weight was 192 lbs, current weight is 123, and my goal is 115. i've only got 8 lbs to go but these are coming off sloooooooowwwwwly (think about 1 - 1.5 lbs a month). i'm doing that mostly on purpose though because i want to get closer to feeling what maintenance will be like, and also to give my skin…

- clothes being uncomfortable, especially jeans or pants when i sat, and the fat rolls that would result - dreading clothes shopping - rarely liking how I looked in pictures - feeling unnoticed and unattractive - low self-confidence in general!

as far as stopping/reducing binge eating -- it takes a LOT of work. i'm a binge eater too. the best way for me to not do it is to just not have my trigger foods in the house, not buy items in bigger than single-serving containers. the best way of course would be to handle it even with the food right in front of you, but…

avocados are delicious and very healthy and good for you. they just have a lot of calories, so just watch how much you have.

i liked to munch on dry ramen noodles, or dry spaghetti.. i think it was the crunch. also like eating frozen green beans... lol. i guess i just like the texture.

I'm 24, 5' 4", currently 123 lbs. I've been overweight since I was around 8 years old and my highest weight was 192 lbs when I was 15 -- between then and last September I've fluctuated between 135 and ~170. Even though I'm young, and have lost pretty much what your goal is (~70 lbs), I can tell I have l loose skin --…

really seeing my hip bones when i lie down (when i was heavier i could just *barely* see them) was a big moment for me. always had a thing for the iliac crests so it was great to see those. hehe.

i eat whenever i want to eat (just keep it all in my calorie goals). hasn't hindered my weight loss as far as i can tell.
-
as long as i can fit it into my goals for the day, i'll eat it and not feel guilty. if i deprived myself of higher-calorie, yummy, comforting (to me) foods like candy, bread, pizza, burritos, curry, etc, i would go nuts, seriously. now, that doesn't mean that i have to work it off sometimes -- i'm set at 1400/day, and an…

oh yeah, for sure. before i got my polar i was relying on what the machines said. i even put my weight in 15 lbs lower on the machine 'cause i knew they overestimate. but according to what my polar says, the machines show almost double the burn that my polar shows. i was shocked too, but also made sense as to why i had…

i snack on fruit at least twice daily, sometimes three times. depending on the fruit it certainly puts me over my sugar and carb numbers, but i don't worry about it really. all i worry about is keeping within my calorie deficit.

i like to run in the gym. the fact that i'm not going anywhere/going past scenery doesn't bother me. on a treadmill, i can program my speed and incline to know exactly what i am doing. additionally, outside, i worry about rocks, uneven pavement, other obstacles that could cause me to trip. sometimes my ankles get weak…

i've lost the most inches from my chest, unfortunately. it's a big bummer since i had very little there to start with. oh well, i'd rather lose fat from the rest of my body and sacrifice some inches from my chest than have a bigger chest and be fat.

um, YES! honestly, it would definitely make me feel uncomfortable, but i'd also still feel flattered.... but more uncomfortable. geez.

thanks everyone for your comments! i made it through the day without so much as a nibble. and there were still some left today, but i still refrained! :)

i can TOTALLY relate! sweets have always been my downfall. i'm pretty sure i have a legitimate sugar addiction. it's really frustrating people bringing in cookies, donuts, and the like. i don't ask people not to bring it 'cause i mean other people in the office aren't watching what they eat. but oh, it is so hard to avoid.…

i weigh daily, and only record every time i hit a new lowest number.
-
yup, i can definitely relate. i was overweight since i was around 7 or 8 years old, got to my highest at 15 years old, then fluctuated back and forth until september 2013 when i was 167 lbs, and i started seriously sticking to changing my diet, and i'm now the slimmest i've ever been as a teen or adult. i went from 192 lbs…

- i get cold easier - my clothes have become quite baggy, but i too don't want to buy lots of new ones just yet as i have a bit more weight/inches to go - DEFINITELY frustrating that it takes more time to burn more calories - friends/family saying stuff like "you're so tiny!", "you disappeared!", all that... i get it's a…

if it's anything bigger than a medium-sized sandwich, i always need to wait at least an hour and a half or so... otherwise, with the exercise i do (elliptical and running, which are more "bouncy" exercises), i tend to get nauseated, as well as just feel generally unwell in my stomach. if i eat a big burrito, i gotta wait…

sorry but this made me laugh  (not 'cause i think it's wrong, just 'cause i can't imagine doing that..lol)

when you first start an exercise program, or when you substantially increase your exercise amount from what you were doing before, your muscles are being worked way harder than they are used to. to compensate for this, they retain water to help repair themselves. i've just started upping my running intensity and i've…

i'm 5' 4", currently 125 lbs (down from 192). trying to get to 120, *maybe* 115 if i look like i still have a tiny bit of fat left to lose.
-
5' 4". here i was around 170 lbs. taken a week ago at around 125 lbs.

for these past two years, what has your diet been composed of? you can become faint/weak not just because of lack of protein. as clynnrychly said, deficiencies in vitamins and minerals can have similar effects. so, if you were more of a "junk food" vegan and getting most of your calories from more processed, pre-prepared,…
