On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being least important and 10 being super important, I gauge appearance at about a 3. I can hear his health problems getting worse. His snoring, wheezing, getting out of breath on walks... It's worrisome.

I don't understand the relevance of your gif. Should I avoid talking to him about it? Tell him he needs to stop? Dress in Roman garb, stand on the kitchen counter and give him a thumbs down every time I see him go for a bowl of ice cream?

Actually, there have been several instances where I have seen buttholes judging people at the gym. Generally those people have their own hang ups and feel the need to elevate themselves because of insecurity. For the most part, no one cares about who is near them as long as they aren't being obnoxious and making loud,…

Your body will naturally gain weight that isn't baby. You will have increased blood and fluid volume, and yep, your body will hold on to fat. Are you still trying to hit the goals for a 2lbs a week weight loss? If so, that may not be enough for your baby. The baby does need fat and that increased calorie intake. Just my 2…

I I think you are confused about what a calorie deficit is. If you are supposed to eat 1300 calories and you only eat 1000, that doesn't give you a 300 cal deficit, that means you ate 300 calories below goal. Your deficit is probably more like 1200-1700.

Haha! This is where some of our most frustrating conversations have come in!! I will make dinner almost every night I can, and he'll come home and say he isn't hungry because he ate a huge lunch or ate on the way home. A couple of hours later, he's raiding the pantry for snacks. I'm sorry for sounding like a nagging old…

We've done that. He had access to ready-made meals and stuff, but left them at home or sometimes in his truck, lol. He's starting to get nervous about my weight loss too. He keeps telling me not to lose too much (I'm currently 45lbs over my highest "allowable" healthy weight) and is acting strange over the whole thing.…

I want to be Hufflepuff, :-)

Oh man this sounds great!

When a guy smells like the outdoors, a bit of BO and a smidgen of cologne. I very nearly played a mean game of grab-*kitten* with a cop I worked with over this smell... Hubba hubba!

I rarely lose my appetite when I'm sick, in fact, I tend to eat more! Get better!

Haha, back in the day, my binges consisted of entire packs of Oreos chased with milk, half a loaf of toasted bread, and literally eating til I puked. What you describe isn't really a binge, you just ate a little above your goal. I did the same thing today. I am 200 calories over, and had I not worked out, it would've been…

Just because you lift weights doesn't mean you're going to look like Arnie Schwartzenegger in his hey day. Pretty sure I spelled his name wrong... Anyhoo, if you are worried about muscle loss, eat more, lift more. You'll be fine.

Oh, and I'm 32 years old. I've never been below 130 as an adult, and I still felt chunky, but I think that had more to do with the fact that I didn't lift or do strength training, which I want to get into. I have mini goals so I can reevaluate how I feel at certain weights. My heart isn't going to be broken if I stop at…

I am currently 184.6lbs. I have mini goals, 140, 130, etc,.. With a final GW of 120.

I love the "everything in moderation" view. I don't like ice cream except for Breyers mint chocolate chip, and a chocolate dipped cone from a local place in town, and even then, I don't crave it all the time. But when I want it, I get it. I just don't get a large dipped cone or eat a whole bowl (or two or three) of breyers…

I married a man I had known since kindergarten. I was 22, and although there were warning signs letting me know it might be a mistake, I did anyway. He was charming, educated, smart... and at the time, it didn't matter that he had an anger and drinking problem. Eventually, after 8 years, 2 kids, 6 marriage counselors, 2…

Thank you so much! 1200 did NOT feel like an appropriate amount. I was starving most of the day, but I went with it. That is what I have gone with before, although my lifestyle is significantly more active now. My BMR is 1599, and my TDEE is 2479, so no stinkin' wonder I was light-headed, stomach-aching, migraine inducing…

Hmm. Anyone? I wasn't really logging calories or making any real effort to lose weight until recently. Besides Easter, I have stayed on plan for only a week. I just wanted some input.

I'm 5'2". CW: 184.6lbs GW: 125-130lbs I've never been teeny tiny as an adult. Lowest adult weight was 130lbs, but I didn't start watching what I ate until I gained 55lbs during the pregnancy with my son. That was on top of the 15lbs I gained after I got married! I never got back into a healthy weight range after that.

Thanks guys. I'll be sure to keep up. I don't get every single day logged sometimes, not for any reason other than I didn't have time. So I'd like to work on that. We got the kids a trampoline, and that's proven to be quite the fun workout. My SO has confided t he would also like to lose about 50lbs. We definitely need to…
