Love stories like this :). You and your wife look fantastic! Keep up the great work.

I rather the cold than the heat. I live in Queensland, Australia and it is getting so warm here now. I have to get up at 4.30am to get a run in outside otherwise the humidity is a killer. I find in winter I put my alarm across the other side of the room so I have to get up to turn it off. In summer...well I wake up in a…

Eh I don't know about dangerous but for me it just makes me feel sick! Done it once or twice and wouldn't do it again.

Lol I think some people missed the fact this is in the Chit-Chat, Fun and Games forum.

...no wonder I'm so ripped. All that carrying my handbag to and from my car is bulking me up! I best stretch/warm up next time so I don't do an injury.

 My bf would not be impressed with this thread. Personally I'm not interested in crossfit at all but he loves it.

I would like the join but I am already completing my have a bar of chocolate everyday challenge :-P. Can't fit in both lol

Lol its so true. I did this myself a while ago to prove a point to my friend who obsesses over those before and after photos. Its amazing what your stance and the way you hold your stomach and the lighting change how you look.

I think some people just honestly eat the calories and are not too concerned with the content. Personally I log everything. I use lots of fresh foods and it does take up a big portion of my time to organise and make all the food I eat. But I don't mind. I like the way fresh fruit and vegetables make me feel, so it is worth…

I love running in the rain :) Much preferred over running in the hot sun! Like everyone else has said, just dress appropriately and you will be fine.

Haha :) Great work! :)

Ah how I hate burpees :). I am keen to do this. I already do 100 burpees on some training days but I am liking the idea of doing them every day to get better at them. I am a day behind so I will catch up! :D

Wow what an amazing story. I feel like an emotional wreck just reading it. I also lost my father to cancer at 53 and I went to a very bad place. I can't even start to imagine how much of a strong person you are to be able to get through what you have. I wish you all the happiness and success in the world xx

Great work on the weight loss :) I do strength training with minimal weights I really only incorporate them into lunges and squat presses. I do most of my workouts in the local park in the early mornings. I have to say at first I was a little bit embarrassed when people walked/drove past but now I have gotten to the stage…

Well that was a good read :) haha. I love seeing how passionate people get. My opinion. Well I count calories. I use a deficit to lose weight. It's simple maths really. I do exercise but for a purpose other then to just look good. I play a lot of competitive netball. In the off season I train (mixture cardio and strength)…

We all have to start somewhere :). Are there any vegetables you prefer? Personally I love mushrooms, capsicum, carrot and zucchini. Start by trying to add some veges like that to your lean cuisine (steam them/pan fry them with a little water and mix them in). If you look how many calories are in veges compared to how much…

I had chocolate and I logged it :) But I wouldn't say I regret it. It was amazing!

Lol I find this happens to me as well :-P

lol probably not the nicest way to move her....but effective none the less.

Hi Skywalker :) My advice for you would be to try and incorporate more fresh foods into your eating regime. I noticed that your sugar and sodium intakes are a little on the high side. This is probably due to the packaged foods you are eating. I got into a routine a few years ago of eating a lot of packaged foods because it…

Age: 27 Height: 5'7" Start Weight: 158 pounds Current Weight: 148 pounds Goal Weight: 138 pounds Calories: 1400-1700 (depending on exercise) Calories Burnt: 400-700 I play a lot of netball. Currently it is off season so my goal is to be at my peak fitness by the time it starts...not half way through the season like normal…

...that's a visual I did not need at work lol.

I have always been small in the breast area. I have to admit when I was younger it used to upset me that my friends had big boobs and I was an A cup. Since I have gotten older I have come to realise that I love being fit and healthy. I wouldn't trade my current figure for a larger one with larger boobs. I can't imagine…

How amazing :). I love reading stories like this. Thank you for sharing xx

I think this is definitely something you should discuss with your doctor. A few of my friends have recovered from severe Anorexia and were recommended to not to any exercise until their body had repaired itself to a somewhat normal level. I am not to familiar with Orthorexia though. Like I said though, this is something…
