I have been a bit slack recently but usually I weigh in as close to possible the same day of the week and the same time of day in order to be as accurate as possible.

I am really looking forward to it (and after todays lunch really need to give it a kick in the *kitten*). I am a little worried about the three days my wife and I are spending in Melbourne this weekend. While we will log what we eat we have decided not to be strict....LOOK OUT!!!

OK we seem to have a few on it, done it, about to or even doing it twice at once..This is fantastic guys. I am really looking forward to it. I will be starting doing treadmill and see how I go on outside runs. I will have to squeeze this in with the 2 spin classes a week and boxing as well as some Tabata training. So this…

If you aspire to unhealthy goals, I think the help you seek will not be found within the pages or participants of this website. Maybe a Dr would be of more help. Good Luck

Sydney here. Welcome and best of luck in achieving a healthy goal! I don't understand why you want to become even more "underweight" according to the BMI scale.

Sydney here, The Australian involvement is amazing, lets keep it up and support eachother through the cold winter months that are just around the corner.

OK I don't mean to sabotage a thread, but, how about we turn it into post a playlist? RULES: Playlist must be 10 songs long (average song is about 4 minutes making it a 40 minute playlist) That's it (feel free to include warm-up and cool-down tracks.

I'm looking at 27kg all up. It is a long way, but hey, with every kilo we are adding alot longer to our time on earth. Welcome to the site and I hope you find it as motivational and informative as I have. good luck.
-
Anyone can add me. You will find this site is full of people willing to support you all the way along. (and you will also notice some human people here too that aren't always perfect). Good luck and go get 'em!

Exercise programs, equipment and gyms live off people who pay upfront and don't use it, they are like leeches. Use it as extra motivation and stick it to them. Scream, yell, be an animal. Show them who is boss. YOU CAN DO IT!

I love water and drink **** loads of it every day, but seriously, if I feel like a coke, I have one! Yes it is important to be healthy, but the minute it becomes a huge chore we will all start to give in. Now go and listen to that coke whisper that it loves you when you open it.
-
Good luck to you all. I have been here for about a week and the support in the forums is fantastic.
-
Great! It is all over health that matters and not just how we look. Well done!

Log it. Who cares if we blow out now and then. (Says this after a lunch full of beer)

Phoenix...Tabata is simply 8 rounds of 20 second intervals with a 10 second break between each interval. It can be of any exercise, but must be performed at 100% Here is some more on it http://www.tabataprotocol.com/ But as the first site suggested bike is best place to start. I did the full 8 rounds on a spin bike and was…

Go for the HRM and I think you will be surprised by just how many calories you burn. A good Kettlebell work out is more of a cardio workout than people think. Keep in mind the Russian Navy used Kettlebells when at sea as their cardio trainers.

You are already doing a great job with some fantastic numbers down. You don't need a TV show to help you, you are already on the right track.
-
Also keep in mind the weight the contestants on BL lose is not in 1 week. It is usually at least 2 weeks between weigh ins.
-
Portion control is the key. After a while you will be surprised how much (50g-250cals) of Cheetos is. It is a big bowl!
-
That is your call and whatever you feel comfortable doing. I don't think anyone on the site will judge you, regardless of how you look.

Another good idea is walking. I know it can be boring at times so perhaps download some audio books and listen to them as you walk. Before you know it you are walking further, losing weight and have "read" all those classics you should have but never got round to. *Stephen Fry did this and managed to lose a considerable…

1. Who cares what others think. 2. You're out there doing it, you are already one step ahead of most people in our ever increasing obese society. 3. Most people are thinking to themselves "good on her" or "man I really should be doing that" As for not being good at running, start easy. Say you go on a 20 min walk, run the…

I find it happens when I push myself too hard. Get a heart rate monitor and see if it is linked to when you max out.
