i have the ft4. they do all come with the standard m-xxl strap. you get the watch, the transmitter and the strap. and a crappy little "manual" that only tells you how to put in initial settings. if you want the full manual, you have to get it from their website. fyi... there is no difference between the mens and womens…

Kraft Mayo with Olive Oil is half the fat of regular mayo. And I also remember from Cook Yourself Thin (Lifetime cooking show that got canceled) that they recommended spreading ripe avocado to replace mayo cuz it mimics the creaminess. I'm not an avocado fan, so I never tried it.

I'm actually doing the same. I started almost 2 months ago. I went cold turkey on caffeine. I eased into healthier eating by gradually replacing crappy processed foods with better choices (still have a little lurking in the cabinets, but it's slowly disappearing). And I've managed to reduce my cigarettes from a pack (or…

they refer to raw because how you cook them will alter the counts.

ok, so a lot of stuff you said is true. however, and this is a big however... they don't claim that it's a miracle weight loss drug. they don't say take it and lose weight without doing anything else. they say that taken in combination with a healthy diet and an exercise program that it can assist your weight loss efforts.…

my balsamic states 10 cal per Tb without being reduced.

check out www.nutritiondata.com when you see conflicting entries or can't find something. most accurate i've found and their database, though not all-extensive, is huge. i just had to get used to how they list items in order to find them. example: peppers, sweet, red, raw.

BUMP!

I've taken it in the past. You have to follow their guidelines to avoid the side effects. Take it 20 minutes before a meal. Make sure that no more than 30% of the meal's calories are coming from fat. At the time I was taking it, I was also on a prescribed drug (not a weight loss thing) that had the same side effects (with…

I'm in the same boat! There are so many conflicting ways out there. Some say to add vinegar to the water, some say absolutely do not. Some way to stir the water in one direction and slip the egg in going into the swirl, some say absolutely still water. I'm going to keep my eye on this thread to see if anyone else has luck!

sorry, don't remember where i read it. this was based on scientific study. and they did not claim it to be the be-all-end-all reason for obesity. they merely stated that it appeared to be a contributing factor (like diet, lifestyle, quitting smoking, etc).

try vitalicious vitatops. 100 calories, 2 grams of fat. chocolaty, brownie goodness. and if you have a little extra wiggle room, top it with 1/2 cup of breyer's smooth & dreamy no sugar added vanilla ice cream. 190 total calories & 6 grams fat TOTAL. i leave room for this on nights when hubby is off work (he's on…

why can't you use an icepack to keep them cold? you're going to lose alot of the juiciness and sweetness by freezing and the textures will change. grapes are awesome frozen (don't even thaw them, just eat them as is... been doing it since i was a kid). your berries will get tarter and mushy as they thaw. i have 2 gallon…

hate hate hate! i hate to sweat involuntarily, and here i'm doing it by choice. truthfully though, i'm only doing it for additional calories and hopefully to finally force me to quit smoking for good.

Ooooh. I have the same problem with my mom! My worst was not something actually said to me. My in-laws pulled my husband aside several years ago to "inquire" about my weight "out of concern for my health." They're so "concerned" that the last time they came to visit they brought a whole batch of sugar cookies and a whole…

I made something similar yesterday. mine was 1/2 c plain nonfat greek yogurt + 2 tb pb2. tasted like peanut butter mousse. too rich to eat every day, but would be a great fruit dip!

cleaning my master bathroom. we recently remodeled it and went high scale. matte floor tiles (shows dirt) and glass shower doors/chrome hardware/high gloss wall tiles (show water spots/calcium deposits). plus the tub is a soaker, so i have to physically get inside of it to clean it and the above-mentioned items. it is…

i'm not a big fan of peanut butter, but we always have it in the house cuz hubby loves it. i started eating more of it upon starting my healthier lifestyle as a better alternative to other sweets, but hated the amount of fat in it. got intrigued by pb2 after reading all the other posts on here. wanted to incorporate it…

middle pic is the best! i shaved my head on Feb 7 and two months later i'm loving it!

KitchenAid here. Love it!!

I'm with you on that! IMHO, the vast majority of Americans don't care what they're shoving into their faces. They want the fat-laden, salt-saturated, processed crap that passes as food these days. They want the convenience. (Granted, I still have some of that same food lurking in my cupboards. But it's slowly being…

I admit it... I too am a cake-aholic! I recently bought a boat load of Vitatops from Amazon and they're helping immensely! I've also been experimenting with baking substitutions to make "better" cake.

just got my pb2 (and chocolate pb2) yesterday. not a big peanut butter fan, but it's filling. after tasting it (and seeing the difference on my log), i told hubby to back away from the pb2 slowly. regular is his; this is MINE!!

I've been talking about doing this to everyone who will listen to me for the past two weeks! I thought it was wrong to think this way!! So glad to see that I'm not the only one!

i just had some frozen grapes!

if you have a mini fridge w/ freezer in your room, try vitatops. 100 cal each!

Right on sister!! Same here, but mine's striving for 175 (down from 181).

I used to have the same problem with my mom. She's seriously tiny and pisses and moans if she gains 5 pounds. I got sick of listening to it one day and told her to STFU. And then she explained it to me so that I finally got it. When you're already overweight and out of shape and you gain 5 pounds, you can't necessarily see…

I weigh all ingredients while prepping and write down all weights. While food is cooking, I do my research on-line if necessary (www.nutritiondata.com is great for this). Start off a new "My Recipes" and keep the serving size blank (or just enter 1 for time being; it can always be edited later). When food is finished…

I'm definitely not a daily kinda girl! More like every other week. Hubby works midnights so I really only have to worry about it when he has a few days off at a time. But for me the issue was more being too tentative since I was relying mostly on touch. God, you're right... this is TMI!
