The same thing happens to me. I was up 4lbs yesterday. I just made sure to drink lots of water and today I'm back to normal. Fast food has lots of sodium, I'm sure it has to be water weight. Each pound is 3500 calories. So to gain 2lbs, you would have had to eat 7000 calories OVER the amount of calories to maintain your…

Hi, I completely relate to you, only difference is I'm a 32 year old woman. Which let me tell you, it's harder to lose weight now compared to in my 20s! I'm just joining again after being gone a full year. My semi goal is 20lbs as well! I suffer with bdd, binge eating and very low self esteem. I've realized that we need to…

I'm an emotional eater as well, anytime my husband and I get into an argument, I want to binge eat, especially sweets. Then I feel extremely guilty, fat and ugly. This then causes me to stress even more and turn to eating again. Nobody understands or they act like it's a joke when I bring it up. I feel alone.

Sleeping on cold sheets and pillows no matter the temperature

I absolutely agree. At first I only did cardio, lost weight, but didn't see many changes. Then I started doing toning and strength training, along with cardio, and I started seeing many changes.

60 minutes of walk/jog interval training, with a 20 minute walk cool down.

That's awesome, congrats on the victory!!! I FRICKIN love MFP too! I have failed every attempted at good nutrition and working out, until I discovered MFP.

Every calorie counts, I log everything!

I never eat the same amount of calories a day just because it doesn't work out that way. My food calories, not NET, range anywhere from 1350-1750 during the week, yet I still have remaining calories from exercising and I still lose. I feel like zig zagging my calories has really helped me. Especially after I hit a weight…

I go back and forth between Underoath and Skrillex, really pumps me up!

I burn more calories doing cardio after strength/weight training.

I agree, a marinade works. I've added minced onion and garlic to my 93/7 ground beef, with a light olive oil vinaigrette and lemon juice marinade. Delish.

90 minutes of the Wii's Just Dance 3 and an hour jog!! Very fun stuff!!

Hi everyone!! I'm 5'1 and I've lost 37 lbs this year, since the end of July actually. My plan is another 25-30!! I also need more friends, so feel free to add me.

Haha, you just want to see the pics for yourself!!!! ;)

I'm not telling people I don't like their pictures. It's just a personal preference of mine, something I cannot control.
-
What bothers me the most are the pictures of men trying to show off their abs and the picture goes too far down....BARF!!
-
LOL, that worries me too. Or how about the people who's pictures are obviously photoshopped to look skinnier, but it doesn't look right at all!! So funny. You're only cheating yourself by doing that.

That's super amazing, but unless you were burning over 3500 calories a day, a lot of that was probably water weight. Keep up the good work!!!!! Congrats :)

I agree, go with fiber. Fruits, veggies and whole grains. Just don't go buy a hole bunch of OTC stuff and go overboard, do it naturally.

I've heard that Omega 3-6-9 boosts metabolism, so I take it every morning.

STAY AWAY FROM DIET PILLS!!!! They can be hazardous to your health. Everyone looks for a fast easy way to lose weight, but that's just not realistic. You want to lose weight healthy and keep it off, right? Hard work and eating right is the way to go. I've experimented with various weight loss pills and HCG drops. My…

I suggest a HRM. I was over estimating how much I was burning, and since I've been using mine, I've lost more weight.
-
Thanks for all the input. I wasn't planning on buying it, but for the people who do buy it, it's $80!! I can buy a pink pair of work-out pants from Target for $15 and just lose the weight on my own. :)

It does help, thank you:smile:

I am doing boxing on a daily basis. Anywhere from 90-120 minutes worth

I have been eating only 1000-1200 calories/day and burning an additional 1000-1400 in exercise alone and am not losing. I know I am eating too little for the amount I exercise. I am looking for something more productive and healthier. I am frustrated because I have been working hard and losing nothing.
