Level 2 is so very hard!! I'm doing it already much longer than just 10 days but the v-squats still kill me and I can't do the last plank/abs movement without a break. I really hate this level but I don't want to move on as long as I don't feel like I can handle it. I really hate it so much

I usually only have bad cramps and feel kinda meh on the first day. Now, until recently I stayed at home that day but last time I made myself go running anyway and it was the best choice. During running the cramps magically disappeared and I felt sooo much better afterwards that I plan to do it again next time.

Weight loss is sometimes irregular and you body is not a machine where you can enter some numbers and it will always react the exact same way every time. Sometimes, I loose nothing and then again up to 1.5lbs a week. I just take it as it comes. Beside eating under 1200 cal seems to be far too low considering that you BMR…

What an achievement and you look so much healthier now!!

I would go for a compromise. So more toned than he likes but less than you would like? Of course it's your body and you can do what you want with it but I believe that in a relationsship you need to make compromises sometimes.

5'9" and CW is 147 I would like to get down to whatever weight it is that gives me a flat stomach. For now my GW is at 143lbs but I will start weight training this month so let's where it will lead me. ETA. I won't mind to weigh more afterwards as long as my stomach is flat.

In the first few weeks after running I always got so hungry and no matter how much I ate I always felt like I was starving troughout the day!! I had to remind myself that this portion size usually gets me more than full so no second helping for me. Anyway I am now at week 8 and it's no comparison to the beginning. Now I…

Maybe not yet, maybe not yet,but we all now it's a small step from pastry chef to force feeding people sugary treats or even worse incjecting them intravenously

The BMR is the number of calories your body burns to stay alive and warm i.e. before you do any active movement. The heavier you are the more energy it costs your body to stay alive. So a 400 Pound person burns automatically 3500 a day without even doing anything actively. Assuming that you actually walk and do things…

You should be so proud of yourself. I know that inner voice trying to give you all kinds of excuses why working out doesn't make sense today. It takes strength to go despite it!

I entered your values into a tdee calculator http://iifym.com/tdee-calculator/ and the values for sedentary lifestyle are Your BMR is: 2714 Calories/Day Your TDEE is: 3257 Calories/Day The BMR is the calories your body burns to stay alive. TDEE is the amount calories your body burns in a 24 hour period comprising the BMR…

Either simple: - olive oil, balsamic vinegar (the good stuff), pepper, salt and a herb mix (rosemary, thyme, basil) - pumpkin seed oil (the good stuff) with a mild vinegar or a bit more complicated, - olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, sweet mustard, salt, pepper and a herb mix (rosemary, thyme, basil)

Ground rules are generally good but you wrote that your mother has depression which is not treated so this behaviour is probably one of the symptoms of her illness. I fear you have to live with her negativity as long as it is not treated. Don't let thes remarks get to you though. I know it's hard not to get dragged down by…

It's actually very visible that your stomach is much smaller now and your boobs really do look nicely lifted!!

This is in my interest too. Legs are the part of my body I like the least.

I'm 5'9, started with 156lbs and weigh 150lbs currently. I planned to go to 143lbs but decided I will start with heavy lifting end of November. My main goal is to have a flat stomach, and look more toned so I need to reduce my bf%. Bonus points if I manage that my thighs and hips loose a few inches  I really don't…

Good job. I love the comparison picture with the same pink shirt

Got mine from a running store and never had shoes that fit better. It's really worth it. He took his sweet time in analyzing my feet and gait so I'm more than happy to pay the price difference to the internet. I see it as service fee ;)

I loop my key through the string at the waistband of my trousers but this sounds like an idea too.

Wow I agree with the others looks way more than 11 Pounds. You must have lost quite some inches!

I didn't really take a look at level 3 only read that it's supposed to be easier than level 2. I believe that!! Jumping jacks in Level 1 were ok but I hated the push ups and were only able to do the modified version and the side lunges with raised arms were horrible. Now there are so many plank position moves (strength,…

I was told to log it as cardio with 150 cal per workout. My own burns are slightly higher but then again I didn't workout for years. I'm 5'9, weigh 150lbs and my fitness level was non-existent. For level 1 I burned in the beginning 195 and after 14 days only 160cal. I started level 2 a few days ago and right now burn…

I am doing it right now. I am at level 2 but I can still remember how sore I was in the first week of level 1!! Everything was in pain. I did level 1 14 days long before I moved on. I only do it 4 times a week Let me tell you Level 2 is killing me right now. I didn't get sore anymore but there are a few times during the 20…

I like my waist which is pretty tiny and and my boobs which are the opposite . Since I am exercising I am also starting to like my butt. ETA: I also like my curvy shape due to my thin waist.

There is a whole thread about it: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/787141-short-person-before-and-afters

And we are always our own worst critic
