The Runtastic App let's you do that too. You can set three different intervalls and voice feedback which tells you if you are above or below. Works very well for me.

I'm 31 years old and it's around 48bpm. I never measured right after waking up. The number is from sitting on the couch for 5 minutes doing nothing except holding my phone. I am not an athlete and only started excercising a month ago. I wonder if it will get even lower when I get fitter

I recently started 30day shred. It's a 25minutes workout but don't be fooled by that. It's quite intense. You can search for it in the forum. There are a huge number of threads about it and you can find all levels online on youtube.

Kudos to taking your life back . I know how important your mental health is and the most difficult step is to seek help when you are in such a dark place. The issue with mental illnesses is that they put you in a place where you need to seek help but you cannot.

Thanks that's really helpful. I will definitely do that. I always have the feeling I fumble around because that move exhausts me so much that I cannot focus on form too much.

Thanks for the kind words. I guess I just felt down after reading that it got so much easier for many after day 5 and that they did all the harder exercises. I mean I know better, right? Although I am within a healthy bmi range I never really did anything to keep fit and I have an office job so I can not expect miracles…

I don't sweat a lot but it's not always an advantage because when it's very hot and I do some exercise I quickly have the feeling that I am overheating. I will also feel really hot while my bf who sweats buckets has a cool nice skin.

Why do you want to loose more weight you are already at the lower end of the bmi and I think it might only be possible by sacrificing muscle tissue.

^^this. I am 5'9" and weigh around 153lbs and for me it's more about some inches I want to lose and tighten up everything a bit :). If I lose a few pounds in the process I won't complain but inches are my main goal because I want to be and look fit. I know if I am around 150 lb people start to comment that I look very thin…

But if I do a video workout like 30 day shred I wouldn't have a distance to enter.

It's the same for me. In fact if I start to think about my breathing I usually get side stitches and I would probably suffocate if I would be forced to breath through my nose when exercising.
