I don't eat them back unless I am hungry. However I only have a couple more pounds to loose so my margin of error is small and I usually burn only 200 - 350 a day through exercise. If I do more I usually eat half of it back.

I bought the full version and use it regularly. You can set your own intervall training and set your paces. I found the app pretty intuitive. Only disadvante for me is that calorie usage is calculated without your heart rate even if you link runtastic to your hrm but I it is not very far off. I use icardio/digifit for a…

Probably will add the odd workout because I am at home for 6 days and have the time. I often either run or do a workout video after I get home in the evening and I hate working out in the morning. However, during my vacation I will probably rund during the day the late morning or early afternoon and do another workout in…

Could it be that this is something which applies in the US? Where I live in Europe many people are within a healthy BMI range although obesity is on the rise Still even I have heard the comment "You don't need to loose anymore". It was from a colleague and I think it was more about her than me. She tried to exercise too…

I second this.

I agree with all the others. It's mainly genetics. If I gain weight it's first in my thighs so that's were I carry any excess fat too and I tend to get quickly cellulities when I am at the end of my bmi even in my early twenties. Additionaly I have muscular legs. I learned to accept that I will never have skinny legs…

You look so awesome and much healthier than in your before picture. I am the same height as you although I didn't look as good as you did at a lower weight :)

I use 2lbs, 3lbs and 4lbs weights depending on the exercise but I have not upper body and arm strength to speak of.

Don't beat yourself up about it. Celebrating once in a while is fine and as long as it stays at "once in a while" you won't gain the weight you lost back. I also don't believe you really gained 2kgs back by eating once more than you should. Wouldn't that equal a ton of calories?

Congratulation!! You seem to have a similar body type as I with high hips and crazy hip/waist ratio :). My hips are at 39.4in inches and my waist is 28.7in . Do you know your measurements?
-
Hip removal Operation? Will be tough to walk upright without it..... sorry couldn't help myself  I actually have the same issue. I gain first at the hips and loose fat last from there. Additionally I have naturally wide hips. So now at 5'9 and 145lbs my hips are so still at 39.4 inches.

My moment is probably not as significant because I wasn't overweight but I reached a point in August this summer where I was really unhappy and felt uncomfortable in my skin. My bf and I stopped all outside activities a year ago because of his health problems and got very sedentary. There was a small belly looking over the…

Look, I gave you suggestions, no need to get so defensive. This has nothing to do with how accurate it is and I am happy that you are able to go outside now but vaccuuming and such does nothing for your fitness level and eating back all those calories will hinder you in your weight loss especially when you know that any…

Additionaly I wouldn't record "going to shops and back" and "vacuuming" as exercise and I am not sure what "dawdling around" is but don't record it. Generally I wouldn't enter activities that you would anyway do. You did all theses things before too and it didn't stop you from gaining weight.

You both look so much healthier than in your before pics!! CONGRATS and it's so great you both started this journey together!

I'm 5'9, currently weigh 146 and I want to get down to 137lbs, current pants size 10. I startet at 156lbs. For me it's very interesting to see that many at a heigher weight can fit into much smaller pants size than I do now. Hopefully I will drop another size but the I have broad hips and hips and thighs is very I carry my…

I am 5' 9", weigh 146lbs and right now my calves are at 15". I have come to a point where I accepted that I will never have skinny legs. Yes, it sucks sometimes because I want to have these awesome boots or cool skinny jeans but it is what it is. From your measurements I would say don't get hang up about your calf. You…

bump, want to see more numbers!

Same here. I only started exercising at the end of this summer but my resting heart rate is below 50 and always was very low. Your VO2MAX is calculated to be 48 and your estimated "fitness age" is younger than 20 Real age 31

This is so interesting and illustrates how different bodies are. It's strangely satisfying to know that my hips are really quite wide for my height and weight and that it's not only in my head. My hips are almost 11inches wider than my waist  Height 5'9" Bust 36.6" Waist 28.7" Hips 39.4" (recently dropped below 40" -…

Does it really matter as long as it covers the important parts? ETA: Ok maybe a string tanga wouldn't be my first choice.

Good you found your motivation again! You might have regained 30lbs but you are still 60lbs under your SW and you are back on track which is even more important

Height: 5'9 SW: 156 CW: 146 Goal: 135 -140

Very inspiring especially because your before looks a lot like mine and my goal weight is also 140lbs. How tall are you?

Well said! I often eat bread in the evening and sometimes in the morning too and and did so most of my life. Neither my family nor I were ever overweight except my mother but it wasn't the bread's fault.
