  • I'm at almost the same place as you are...I could almost verbatim what you said about losing weight, then vacation and then my brain not coming back from vacation. I made a fresh start back today. Put what has happened behind you and do not think on it anymore. Look ahead and "plug along" knowing that you are making…
  • Thank you for sharing! What a great idea :)
  • Welcome! MFP is wonderful! Feel free to add me. Best wishes to you on your journey.
  • If your pants are looser than you would have had to lose some inches. Might be you're not measuring in the same place or with a different measuring tape? Clothes falling down don't lie...you're doing great!
  • 2 lbs is great! The first week you usually have a big number. Keep it up - 2 lbs. a week and you will make your goal in no time. I too am a mom of 4! Feel free to add me :)
  • Started out and still above 250. I do not always eat them back. I typically use them when I really want some sort of "treat". As far as exercise approx 3 times a week walk/jog and burn about 300 calories. I have not been losing fast but fairly consistently without depriving myself of anything just being much more wise…
  • My mom has it. She is under "laurelstorm" on MFP. Best wishes to you.
  • You need to indulge every once and a while...as long as it is not your pattern you...I find the more I deprive myself of something the more I want it and thats when I have the tendancy to overdo it. I also find that my "cheat" meal is not near as bad as some of the regular meals I used to have normally. You are doing…
  • All the digitals that I have had vary a bit even if I weigh in three times in a row. Taking an average of three weigh-in's back to back is probably your best bet. But, I must ask, why are you weighing in so frequently?
  • I have a digital Biggest Loser scale. I like it. As long as you are weighing in on the same scale, you should have an accurate picture of your weightloss each week. Two different scales will more than likely give you two different weights :(
  • No feeling guilty! This has to be liveable for the rest of your life. Don't look at this as just a diet but a lifestyle change. It sounds like you had a really healthy meal. You have to give your body the nutrition that it needs. Being way under your calorie goal all the time is going to starve your body and then it…
  • Make sure you have water before, during and after...but not too much...I find that when I have too much at any one time I feel sick. But also, if I don't have any I feel way worse. Good luck!

  • My highest weight was 316 and I have lost 10 so far. All I can say is take it step by step each day and don't get overwhelmed by the big goal. Make small goals and celebrate along the way!
  • I have been overweight since before my husband and I were married. Every time I started to lose weight it was not long after that I was pregnant. So loosing will definitely increase your chances! After my son was born March of last year my doctors told me that I should not get pregnant again because of a blood clot that…
