Myself - I know I tend to over-eat in between after the evening meal and before bedtime, but I still fall for it and regret it the morning after. So me myself and I - am holding me back - and I know what to do about it.

If you try Ashtanga Yoga once or twice, I don't think you will feel like you need to look for anything extra.

Ashtanga yoga class tonight 75minutes - weather permitting outside on the lawn.

60 minutes fast walking on the coast path, stopping midway to gather seaweed for the vegetable plot and brisk-walking back up the cliff steps with the loaded rucksac and plastic rubbish taken off the beach to say "thank you". Then 60 minutes Ashtanga yoga at home.

Throw it out and then make sure you have both eaten before you go shopping next week.

Vinyasa flow or Ashtanga styles of Yoga will build a little muscle if the practise is challenging enough and also help to drop the fat covering the muscles so they appear more defined without necessarily building mass - much like climbing. I think with both yoga and things like rock wall climbing you also build a bit of an…

I didn't start losing weight until I stopped eating after 9pm. Not trying to say that's a hard fast rule, but it works for me, mostly because late night is when my willpower for junk food is at its weakest.

Hi – I am Carl and judging by the other folk in this group and the one before it – I have been just playing at losing weight and it is time to get serious about whether I really want to lose 15lbs this time round or not. I do. I practise Ashtanga yoga and am around 20lbs overweight. I am 164lbs currently and would ideally…

So - apart from 8 hours, where you are presumably asleep, you do all your eating while you are awake during the other 16 hours. how is that different from anyone else? - unless its the other way around? It is isn't it?

Ran: walked 7 miles on the coastal path between Mullion and Poldhu Coves, Cornwall UK and did some yoga on the beach at the midpoint. I did stand in the sea and if I'd had the time would have had a swim as well. Awesome way to start the afternoon.

thank you BBQsauce; back on track.

Feel like I'm wasting everyone's time on this group - although I'm not losing or gaining by much I'm just moving up and down a pound or two every week and I really want to lose this last stone.

are you losing fat weight?

30 minutes and the time it would take you to get to the gym and change both ends (45 - 60mins then) is long enough to complete an abridged Ashtanga Yoga routine - all the strength and flexibility you will ever need. The entire session would take around 75 minutes.

- hoping I'm not too late to hop on board. 10- 15 lbs to lose. - motivation _ I want to be able to pick myself up off the floor in an L-sit and its got to be easier if I'm 15lbs lighter! - bringing regular swimming back into my weekly regime - I just got lazy and gave up going. - Ashtanga Yoga will become loads easier the…
