I got the TX-300 yesterday, and after some playing around with it I figured out how to make it count calories. All you have to do is to press the 'Mode' button until you get to the stop watch and start it, this is the way that it keeps track of calories burned.

I'm not a huge fan of breakfast, but due to medical reasons I have to eat breakfast to take my medication. If I don't it makes me sicker then a dog (which I just realized that that makes no sense), but I only eat a serving of cereal with milk. And it does make me feel more energized when I do eat breakfast.

Sorry to dig up an old topic, but I just go this from Wal-Mart. I like how it works and feels on. It took me a little time to figure out how to get the calories burned to work, all you have to do is to start the stopwatch, and it will start to calculate your calories burned.
