@ Sharon - you're a hunny :flowerforyou: Thanks so much! ps: can't understand how the pm got stuck, but thanks anyway.
-
@ Sharon - Thanks Sharon, I sent a PM as well. The name of the antibiotic is Augmentin (Glaxo Smith Kline).

Thanks. The bite is healing, but the cellulitis is still there. Today I feel a bit off and I thought maybe it was training whilst on anti-biotics.

@ MityMax96 - So true! My family are pre-disposed to high cholestrol. When I weighed 77.5Kgs, I had mine checked and it was 8.2. My sister, who at the time weighed 20Kgs LESS than me had hers checked at the same time and hers came in at 8.3... a tad higher than mine and that is with her being a lot thinner than me. I…

You ladies are awesome! Thanks. I'll recalculate at 20%.

Now that my macros are set, they conflict with the MFP goals. Is there a way of adjusting one's macros on the MFP site?
-
Thanks a stack. I think I will find the TDEE Calorie goal a lot easier to achieve. The MFP plan was so high in calories, that I have been battling to eat them all. :drinker: ....... except on the days when I fancy a beer or six!

I like!

I'm battling to meet my calorie goal at the moment. Now before, ah, that was easy.... French Fries, Doughnuts, Beer..... Lots of Beer :drinker: , Ooooo and Bread and Pasta, and loads of oil on my salad, and large amounts of salt. I've now cut out anything fried, exchanged the Doughnuts for just the nuts part, only drink…

Now this is good advice and something I am going to make my mantra. I too am battling to eat as much as I should, probably because I drink so much water so I feel full all the time. I also think because I've just started my journey, I am still trying to figure out what foods and recipes work for me and I am still scared of…

Wow - thanks for that... what a wealth of info.... I shall be reading until late into the night. Thanks so much.

Nice to meet you Crimson. Well done on the skipping. I bought myself a rope but have not tried it out as yet....... I can just imagine one tangled mess

I DID IT!!!!! I went to gym and burnt lots and lots of Calories, I think it was 660 or there abouts. Thanks for the motivation..... I needed that kick up my fat butt! Now I really feel like a Beer...... :drinker:
-
I like....... yes, that would work for me.
-
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!!! I'm logging off now and hitting the Gym!

Hi Chadomaniac, I'm also in JHB, BUT I'm a GIRL. Damn! would have loved to become health and fitness pals, but what my body needs and what your body needs are sooooooo different. And Howzit to you too.
-
Hi there! Yay! Wish you were here in Jhb.......
-
Thanks so much. Yes, perhaps that why I just don't feel like gym today..... I feel tired, not sore, just tired. I try and stick to the following Day 1 - Upper Body Day 2 - Cardio Day 3 - Lower Body Day 4 - Cardio Day 5 - Upper Body Day 6 - Cardio Day 7 - Rest Day 8 - Lower Body etc. etc.
-
Ugh! I wish I had some self control.... and I wish I was not so hard on myself. I have been training consistently for the last 12 days non-stop and I think I might be a bit tired.... Okay 2-days was actually Sailing which in my opinion does not burn much especially if there is no wind and not much work to do whilst…

Me toooooooo!!!!! I looooove my Beer. I drink low alcohol beer but it still contains approx 95 calories per bottle. Do you think drinking low alcohol beer interferes LESS with one's metabolism?
-
Awesome! Thanks!

Thanks! I filled in all the details in the strength training section but for some reason it just does not record the calories. All the exercises, reps, etc. are there, but no calories :-(
